  1. Some items from the Thanksgiving Day Sale are now available online.

The sale price isn't visible on the item page itself. It only shows once you add the item to the cart.

However, the "free shipping" for $49 and up as advertised on their site doesn't seem to be working.

  2. The newer one in Harrisburg...the East side one. I didn't know it was there! I think it opened in October, but I kept hearing a radio ad for a tanning place next to the "new Target". I asked around and checked the website and decided to go there yesterday since I hadn't been to Target since last Sunday. lol I was having withdrawals! My friend who knew about that Target also told me about the one in Mechanicsburg.

That Target was a bit behind on some of the markdowns...maybe because it's new. I'm not sure. Have you been there? It's set up like the West Manchester one, only reversed left to right.

I saw the Super Target that is somewhere near the Nissan Pavillion last year when we went to the Depeche Mode concert. I believe it is the closest one, and as much as I love Target, it's just too far LOL We have a wedding to attend in June in DC, and I am trying to convince dh to just get a hotel for the night and check out that Target before we come home. lol

    ah, yes

The Gainesville Super Target. I love that one. I don't get out there often, but the few times I have, I found a lot of missed markdowns :)

There is also a Target on the main drag in Manassas (one exit closer to DC), but I've never been to that one. I live closer in to DC, so I have a different set of Targets I frequent.

  3. Thanks, Grace474, I may take you up on that.

If you happen to see a BUNN coffee maker (Black or White) for $24.98, please grab one for me.

I was going to start perusing the Target stores in the NOVA suburbs -- but the weather and road conditions are cramping my style.

Last week I hit the Targets in Frederick, Gaithersburg, Wheaton, Germantown, Rockville ane Silver Spring!!!

Not much of anything at any of the stores.

When I was at the Frederick store, a woman grabbed a black brocade doggy dress ($3.24) for her friend's Male Pug???? I said "Gee, that dress would look great on my Sweetie Poo!" She just laughed and said that the Male Pug won't know that it's a dress, so she wouldn't let me buy it:confused:

    dogs in drag:no:

I'll let you know if I see a BUNN coffee maker that low around here!

  4. I think it is a YMMV thing on the expired coupons. Many of the Targets around here in the metro area WILL take expired coupons. You might want to ask on the coupon generator link on the coupon category. Someone said that the system at Target doesn't catch the expired coupons at all so as long as your cashier isn't examining them they are ok to use.

what metro area are you in?

I haven't tried using expired coupons, but I would love to if I knew the store would routinely take them :)

  5. Here's my buy for the day...

    2 colgate toothpaste

    2 colgate toothbrushes

    2 lady speed stick deodorants

I used the in-ad coupons for each, plus...

    2 $1/1 colgate toothpaste

    1 $1/2 colgate toothbrushes

    1 $1/2 speed stick

    total before tax was $1.98

the bottom of the receipt says I saved $9.98 in coupons

  6. If an item is on sale (temporary markdown) within 14 days of your purchase, Target will do a price adjust. If the item goes on clearance, then they will not price adjust.

I haven't used my coupon yet - guess I should go this week!

    Thanks!!

I went today, but I forgot my receipts. They said that they require a receipt for a price adjustment and they won't look the receipt up in the system. I guess I need to go through my Target receipt pile tonight.

btw- these are the 16 giant roll packs...not the 30 packs that were listed on the coupon...but my Target took the coupon on them anyway.

My only fun find today was a Cabbage Patch Kids little sister set (the one with the regular size doll and the newborn doll). It rang up "not on file", so they gave it to me for $6 :)

I also saw a bunch of the Tony Hawk things I have seen mentioned on here at $44.xx, disney mix sticks at 50% off, a 16" Bratz bike for $29.98, and a bunch of Fisher Price "Little People" sweet sounds home playsets for $14.98.

  7. No fun at my Target this morning. The trutech tv/dvd was still $149, the color wonder sets were still $7.99,no hidden barbie mini kingdom dolls, no air-hogs, the bonus pack clearance isle was almost cleared out, and not a single boot in sight!

I did manage to find the target exclusive red idog, though. It rang up as not found with the last price as $6.98. It was in with the other full price idogs.

And I grabbed a couple boxes of Crispix cereal on clearance for $1.98, they were only 98cents after the $1 kellogs printable.

  8. If you take a pad of paper in with you, you can write down the dcpi number and input it at the price scanners (or at least in our store you can). Its usually the set of numbers that have three numbers than a space three numbers space etc, it might work with the UPC code too. I have done this with items that are too heavy to life or drag around to the scanner LOL. The number might be on the shelf too, I was doing that for awhile with the electric guitars that were clearancing out, I just wrote the number down and checked the scanner each time.

There are about 10 Targets within 15 minutes of me...and some of them have the older style scanners that don't have a keypad. It drives me nuts when I want to know the price of something heavy.

  9. I had to return a few things today, so I took a look around :)

    I saw...

    24" purple girls/womens bikes for $29.xx

all winter boots and slippers were 75% off

the Bratz leapster game, finally down to $5.xx

lots of clearance in the food section, but most only 15-30% off

I am still finding leftover unmarked 75% off toys mixed in with the regular toys. I haven't found anything I need, but it's a fun hunt :)

  10. At both targets I went to today, the remaining Christmas clearance was ringing "not on file" or 0.00.

One store had tons of the glade pumpkin pie candles left, I bought a few and the cashier gave them to me for 10 cents

Another store had the Sonja Kashuk "stairway to stardom" compacts and a lip gloss set...both came up "not on file" so they rang the compacts at $2 and the lip gloss set at $1

  11. Well, I can happily report that I got 4 buckets of the Cascade tabs :) I told them they were ringing up 2.24 at another store (didnt say where!) and she said ok! I did encounter an issue though. To whoever said it is impossible for the scanners to show one price & the register another, it can happen. It does happen. It happened to me last night. I printed off the .75 Hersheys Kissables coupons. I had 28 of them, because i knew if ther was any left, they would be 75% off. I scanned them, and it showed .69 a bag. So I grabbed 28 of them. Well, when I got out to my car, i noticed my reciept said 1.07 each. They were closing so i let it go for then. I am heading back soon today, have to get some throat meds anyways. But it can happen, just FYI.

are you sure you didn't accidentally grab the larger ones that say "big bag" on them?

I grabbed one of those first and scanned it and I believe it was 1.07, so I put it back and found the 14 oz size that scanned at .69

  12. We make our own also. Luckily my husband is a photographer, and we often spend hours trying to make sure the kids are both looking the same direction, no ones nose is running, no ones tounge is hanging out, etc. The 5 "poses" they take at the studios never managed to have everything "together" in any one shot.
  13. We always have an "angel tree" at our church. I would always try to pick a child that asked for a clothing item, and then I'd grab an age appropriate toy to send along with it.
