Does anyone know what stores are open tomorrow? I just found out our old neighbors are coming over tomorrow. They usually come after new years so I usually go after Xmas to buy gifts...

You could do over the rainbow stuff like a balloon arch lollipops and gold painted flower pots with those giant lollipops put in them sticking out of craft foam.
Whaooo, thanks everyone for your ideas.. Love the idea with the bubbles, I also thought of doing a yellow road for her enterance. I can't imagine giving a bunch of teenage pin the tail games.. I thought of doing emerald city but don't know where.. A friend also mentioned to me to do a candy bar with skittles, smarty, etc.. this also is a good idea.

My daughter is High School Musical and Hannah Montana crazy so ANYTHING with those will prolly work for her. Right now she wants the Hannah wig we saw at Target and the Hannah microphone we saw at Walmart last week. Walmart is HSM central and she's already told me she wants a HSM birthday cake for her b-day in October (that I've only found at Walmart). :) I just hope they have the HSM stuff go on sale at some point before Christmas, that stuff is expensive!
I also agree with you.. High school musical is #1 on my daughters list. She just bought the high musical game for her DS with her birthday money. She luvs it.. For those who have nintendo wii the HSM game with micro. is on pre order. It come out in Nov. I have pre ordered to hold it for x-mas. I'm sure is going to be a out sold item..

I want to thank everyone for your help.
I made 2 cakes. I didn't think that I could be that crafty, but it came out nice. The girls loved it. Then to my co-worker I gave her a gift cert. to a rest. by her house and a couple outfit from target that were on clearance. The best part to all of this I didn't go over my budget.

make each of them a diaper cake.i made one i topped it off with toys from mcdonalds happy meals since the theme was winnie the pooh. go in the plant section and i got a plastic plate like thing to put under the pot. i used that as a base . roll diapers long wise tie with a string when you get all rolled up take 2 rolled up diapers put a third string thru the strings that r there and tie.pretty soon they will be all tied up then place them rolling as u go on the plate.top off with little baby toys i only made one but it was a lot of fun
This might sound like a dumb question but how are the diaper stay up? What in the center of the cake holding it up?

2 are having girls and the other one has decided with her husband they want to be surprised. One of the girls had a babyshower but I couldn't attend it. The other two their babyshower is still in planning. The diaper cake sounds really nice. I think I'm going to try doing one to see how it comes out. I'm trying not to spend more than 100 on the gifts. So the clearance sounds good my going to check out my target.

I have 2 friends and a co-work who are giving birth within the next few weeks. I would like to get them something nice but not to expensive since is 3 gifts that I have to get. Anybody have any ideas where I can start?

I have just checked out my local store (centrol NJ, within Middlesex County) during the New Years weekend. And to my supprise most of the stores have Wii up on the shelf for sell?!
and not just 1.. one store have several laying around the store!!I asked them for it in the locals (ie. EBgames) for one and saddly all their saying is "Yes! we are having more of them comm in!!" Don't know how good is their promise worth.. but I am trustin them this time:razz:
Since a few of the stores accually told me that they are expecting a few of the system here... I am keeping my fingers crossed for their words, but would think that this time is could be a good news!
Where in the middlesex county? I couldn't find one. I went around all weekend looking but nobody had it.

There is a post on www.ps3seeker.com/wii that TRU is going to have thousands of Wiis on December 22nd. They are also assuming the other stores will get more in, but it sounds like TRU is hoarding to sell on Friday.

Are all the walmarts going to have some? If they are I want to tell my job that I'll be coming in late, because our walmart opens at 7am. I live in NJ and we don't have a 24 hr walmart
