Do you have a Hobby Lobby store nearby? They seem to have a nice selection of jewelry making stuff. Also seems like their weekly ads show jewelry stuff on sale at 50% off. Not sure if you can buy online from them.

My husband saw the commercial on this product and thought it was very similar to a drimmel tool. Since he already had the drimmel tool, he used that on our 100 lb lab. Worked great! Our lab is very mellow and will sit still for whatever you do to him (bath, clip toenails, brushing, etc) Can't say he likes it but will behave for my husband.
