  1. Girl pajamas at Walmart, there was TONS of girls stuff, but I managed to find just one pair of boys 14/16 pajama pants(I was there around 11am) Lots of the bluetooth speakers, printers, 2DS, accessories.

Target, lots of movies left, housewares.  I didn't pay too much attention to this ad though.

one thing that was wiped out nearly everywhere was Infinity(except the pirates characters) and SwapForce characters.

TRU, I was in there last night, but the line was 2 hours long so I dumped my stuff. Went back today, found the LAST megazord left in the store, exactly where I had left it on the shelf. Only thing I wasn't able to buy online from my TRU list.

  2. Okay, could use some help. I'm looking for a 32-40 inch tv, I don't need a Smart TV, have a Roku for streaming and I'm quite happy with it. Don't need 1080 as I have a small living room and I'll never be more than 15 feet away from the tv. and I don't want the cheapest one either. Mostly, my son wants to be able to play 2 player on Minecraft on the Xbox, and it's not supported on my old tube tv.

go out on BF for it, or just shop around after the sales?

  3. I got everything from there I ordered, got the second package today. So, for me not an epic fail. I ordered the D-netlink wireless adapter(works beautifully, I just hooked it up, took all of 10 minutes) Speakers, DVDR discs and CDR discs(I use black friday to stock up on those for the year)
  4. Got almost everything I wanted. Hit Walgreen's yesterday, got the Toy Story tent for 4.99, laundry detergent and Dr. Pepper 2liter. Then I went online shopping. JCP first, got 2 pairs of jeans for teenager. Office Max next, got the USB wireless adapter, DVDR and CDR discs(I use black friday to stock up on them every year) and a set of Logitech speakers. Then I waited up for Walmart, got everything I wanted from there, a few toys, lots of pajamas, and the mini chopper! the one online item I missed was the $20 ladder at Lowe's, it went "no longer available" as I was heading to check out.

This was a light electronics year for us, we replaced all the necessary electronics items last year.

  5. someone remind me, does Kohl's overcharge for shipping? I just need to pick up a few pairs of jeans, and I don't want to fight with the Kohl's crowds for them. And does the Kohl's site generally crash on Black Friday?

nevermind-looks like JCP has men's jeans for cheaper with a better variety.

  6. That would work for me, go to Target first, then run across the street to Joann's to get there before it opens, after Joann's run to Office Max for memory cards/DVD-R's, and done except for online shopping. Unless Walmart's ad is better for what I want this year, then I'd head there first.
  7. My kids stay home, I've never brought them out.

BF sales can be that great. This year I know I want a GPS(make it easier to do garage sale shopping). If I can find a 20 inch flat screen for $100, then I'll get that too. I may skip Joann's this year though, depends on if husband has to work that morning or not(if he does, then I'll just be leaving my 14yo in charge of his younger siblings) It all depends on when the stores open though, if Target opens at 5am, then I'll find a gps and tv there, then run to Joann's by 6. Make a quick trip to Office max for some cheap items(usually always memory cards, flip drives, and this year I need a portable hard drive)
