you know i think i might just do the binder thing this year...its growing on me how everyone is talking about it...its clever idea...just means i have to buy another paper...just to have duplicates...cuz other people will be shopping at other stores..so they might need the ads too I usually have credit..but some cash..cuz you never know what the systems will do..oh and sometimes checks too...i carry it all...lol...can never be to sure...lol

wasnt it good for most of november up to the day BEFORE thanksgiving... so i would assume first week of November/Last week of October...

They were talking about it earlier this year about having a free sales tax day...but havent heard whether they will or not...but yeah i do agree with you...they prolly wont.

lol..anyone taking the parking lot...lol I DO NOT use the restroom at all when standing in line....if i need to go..im doing the pee dance..and by that time doors are open so instead of doing the pee dance i am dancing thru the store getting my bargains..and by that time pee urges are slowed down enough to wait til i stop shopping...then it kicks in again...and i have to start the dancing again...(i try to cover up by looking at stuff..anything just to not think i have to go...lol...)..and by that time its time to check out..and restroom time...lol now i dont feel so innocent...lol

i agree with that...Walmart overall had the items and the price on everything overall that people wanted

out of 1600 or so stores 300 dont do layaways..the one nearest me doesnt do layaway..but the one 30 minutes away from that one does...

Kohls has really good dorrbusters..but you wont find good dvds, tvs, and other electronics like you would Walmart or Best Buy...but each store is different...i like kohl's alot..but i go to the others first before there..or have some one else pickl a few items up whiile there ...so just look at the ads and decide which store has more sales on things you want and go to that one that has the most sales per store...

just go to their website...www.walmart.com scroll down a bit on home page and whalla....you can view it all there...

more likely target, walmart, or meijer..and any combinations....wont really know til the ads start rolling... looking forward to all those ads!!!

dvds...2-3 dollars...i will be buying millions...lol...Walmart had dvds last year for 3.44..and the year before that 3.88...so maybe 2.99 this year....we'll see!!!

they are opening one (Marion, OH) here too in October...October 5...i believe..so i bet that is the same date yours will open too...

I always seem to find myself at Kmart first thing that day..and drive down to Meijer...they both usually have pretty good sales...especially if you know what the other stores are going to have..you can get the items that arent on sale then then, and then you dont have to worry about it the next day and how can someone NOT walk into Kmart...i mean yes years ago it was a disaster (bankruptcy and no stock of most items due to that)...but at least the ones here have cleaned and kept up with store layouts and getting stuff in...i guess its a YMMV thing...

i wonder how many made it in people's carts...that would have been to easy to shop...lol

I am usually back by late that night..we get the deals in the morning and go back to find the regular stuff that are still saled price and finish christmas up usually...so we make a day of it!

That is an awesome idea!..plus it would make sense to get that stuff out now before the weather turns frigid and snowing, etc...plus you will know what you will need to buy to finish decorating... such great ideas! Thanks
