how many gifts do you want to get - and why? At 1 they can be overwhelmed with chaotic Christmases. a few new toys will keep her happy... a doll, little people, a book, and something flashy that makes noise.
Put the rest of the money into a college account to earn interest for 17 years....
In my family we take birthdays and Christmases very seriously and always give lots of gifts no matter the age, just how my family does things! We love to spoil, hehe. My daughter is the first grandchild on both mine and my hubby's side of the family and first girl in a while on his side and first girl in 24 years on my side of the family, she is always gunna end up with big holidays.
Thanks everyone for your ideas and input I definitely will look at some of these at the store!

Grr...I'm strating to think that this particular vidoe has been dicontinued (my kind of luck)! I had not thought of the PBS website, they had a bunch of Banrey videos but none of them were the one I wanted or atleast had the song I'm looking for...but thanks a bunch for the idea! :)

I use to take my grandma Christmas shopping, then I did her shopping for her. This will be our first Christmas without her. I am sure there will be a few tears along with all the fun. If you still have a grandma enjoy any time you have together, you won't wish you had done less with her when she is gone.
I agree with that, I wish sooo bad i go back in time and spend more time with her! The first Christmas was pretty rough without her mainly bc she had passed away in Sept and it was still so new to us....even 3 years later its still hard to do!

Thanks, checked them out and neither had the one I am looking for...this is going to be a looong chanllenge! Thanks for all the ideas and help!

I will celebrate at 5 places this year, 1st will be at a local nursing home (so sad to see them left like that, but we always cheer them up), then hubby's military party, then my office party, then my family, and then we head to Missouri for hubby's grandparent's house to have Christmas with his family!

We used to take my grandmother shopping all the time before she passed away....yea it was a pain going so slow and having to pull the wheel chair in and out and squeeze it through the aisles, but I would give ANYTHING to go shopping with her just one more time!

That's true. Media purchases are limited to only $3 per.
I know is that no the stupidest thing! My hubby wanted to buy a DVD and he had $9 to use and the cashier was like oh the max you can use at once is $3.....it never said it on the coupon!

I perfer online that way you don't have to deal with the rude people and you won't have to stand in the checkout line for ever!
-
I love the Coke commercails as well....the Polar Bear cubs are always soo cute!
-
Know its not a lot off, but a coupon is a coupon!

They had this discussion in the Black Friday section :) ....but just an FYI Charming Shoppes (owns Fashion Bug, Lane Bryant, and Catherine's) is planning to buy about 90 of their stores and the rest, well their last day will be Jan. 31st or the day they run out of stock!

If you have a Hobby Lobby near you....their Christmas stuff is on sale right for 1/2 off! Thats where I got all my ornaments (tree was handed down to me so I don't about prices)

The only one I have asked at is North Point mall. But like i said, I havent been there in a few months. Now it is really bugging me, all those tiomes I could have gotten a good sale, and I was shot down, only to find others got it! Ugh!
I know that tha Mall of GA VS store normally has the C's and D's and never my size....i can't grow any, i'm only 34B:(

We haven't been told those either, but they will stay open through holiday....all the other store closings we have seen once they begin there should be a listing on their website either a schedule of which stores are closing on certain dates or they might do it all in one day and post just a final date, which as far as I know will be Jan. 31st, 2006

Does anyone know where I can get a hard copy of the Target Toy Catalog? Will it be mailed out or in a Sunday's newspaper (and which Sunday's newspaper)? My daughter loves to look through the ads and circle what she wants for Christmas!
