  1. Brad - any insight as to why some of the deals are on the website and some aren't? I can't seem to find the 1525 for $559 and when i try and create it, it doesn't show the adjusted price

So i just created the specs for the $559 (flyer) and it rings up as $589 with initial price of $674 with instant savings of $285 taking it to $589.

The difference is $30 between the flyer and the website in both final and initial price. What are the odds the flyer was off by $30 and that this is as good as it will get?

  2. I went to CC yesterday and they said as long as I'm there during the hours when BB have it for $999 then they will PM it.... and i spoke to the TV manager, and the sales manager, but not the store manager.
  3. I have to admit that myself and my bro and sis rotate who is outside experiencing the cold. We have two in line, and one in the car warming up, and rotate every half an hour. I can understand the frustration but i think its fair especially for those of us in the North - I live in NJ (fair enough ppl further north can claim its colder) but its pretty bad.

I dont think if one rotates or takes it in turns or have younger children it is unreasonable for them to wait in the cars - the cold can be dangerous, and as long as everyone does their turn in the line i think its fair.

Its the rushers from the back or behind plants or up trees at the last minutes that should be dealt with....

  4. I like the prices of the t.v.'s. It's just deciding which one is the problem.

Considering you can find these TVs at close to their Sears BF prices already (maybe a $100 difference)...I would say I'm not that impressed...

Also, I'd hold in deciding on TVs till BB, WM, and other giants release theirs. Sears could have the cheapest, but i'd be slightly surprised

  5. Last year I just pulled an all-nighter.

Comp-USA started at midnight so I went there, and then went straight to Walmart & Circuit City (conviniently next to each other) and was there for about 1am, and stayed there till they opened. 1st in line at Walmart and 5th or 6th at CC.

Gonna do the same again this year!

  6. Thanks Ross!

I'm looking at the Garman C550 ($600-700) and the TomTom One ($500-600) currently.

I need to get one soonish and I'd hate for me to spend that kind of money and then see them whilst on my blitzing on BF!

Judging by the prices it doesnt seem like there was such a massive pricedrop on BF compared to everyday prices

  7. Hi all - first post here, despite being a member since last year...

I was wondering if anyone remembered whether they had handheld GPS systems on BF last year? I very much doubt they'd be a blitz item but if they were on sale that'd be nice :)

If they weren't on sale - anyone with higher BF knowledge then I, think they will be around this year? I kinda want one for the car.

Apologies if there is a thread already, had a quick look but didnt see anything

    Thanks!
