  1. Well, I'm done with amazon for black Friday shopping. They've pulled way too much crap this year. Putting TV's, computers, games on lightning deals and then removing them. Putting them back sometimes and sometimes NOT. This year seems like all they're doing is emptying the closet that has all the junk that didn't sell throughout the year and calling it a "LIGHTNING DEAL". Then they sneak the good deals on with no warning rewarding those people that can sit in front of their computer all day and night long. Bitter? Yep! But I'm over it now! Going out to Walmart when I get done stuffing my face. Happy Thanksgiving to all!

  2. Is the $229 Best Buy tablet on the Home Page a good deal for what you get?  Lol.  Heck, I don't even need a new computer.

Very good for the price. Has dvd/cd drive which the asus at $219 does not. Bought one for my 12 yr old and it does everything we need it to. Very good battery life for a $229 computer.

  3. I purchased this tablet for myself after playing with the kids Christmas tablets, (http://www.dhgate.com/sanei-n90-9-7-ips-screen-tablet-pc-android/p-ff808081331b17be01331edef31b36e1.html). It has been great for everything I've thrown at it. Plays movies, reads books and magazines, plays music, games, email, web surfing with wifi. What I would consider Great battery life (6 to 8 hrs straight). By the way, I only paid $168.96 for it on sale. It was delivered DHL in 5 days. I love it.
  4. Alright I am confused a bit. My daughter has a ipod touch, school mini laptop and a older kindle. Which tablet should I get her. My son is 12 has none of those above. He wants to get on facebook, utube, play games. Which one for him. Thank you for your help. I am leaning on kindle fire hd for both of them.

This is an awesome tablet from Newegg. I have 3. Over 8 hrs straight movie playing. $79.99 with coupon code.

Got several of the 4pk Ryobi, and was able to build up my current collection by 4 new tools for free!!! Had a 10% off coupon, and 2 free gift cards from a GA Tech football game. $5 and $1, Not much but it all adds up. NAP TIME!!!Seeya:D
  6. I know alot of BB do check ID's or DL's. Most states do issue ID's to minors and people who cant drive and she could get a ID. Most states issue ID's through the DMV. These days you do need a ID to travel, go to Canada or Mexico, enter Federal Buildings, open bank accounts and so on.

Why don't we just get the Congress to pass a law saying you have to have a microchip ID implanted in your body? Maybe when you're child is born they can implant it then?

  7. A store could always stop the ticket system all together and have it where people have to quess where to go when the store opens and if they are lucky they find the item they wanted, so #100 in line who got there 1 hour before store opened lucked up and found where they were got it and #1 in line got nothing they wanted after camping out for 2 days all because the store didnt want people selling tickets.

Yeah that would be great!:yuck: Not! In my town the BB and Toysrus are right next to each other. I've gotten everything I wanted from BB and sold the tickets that I didn't need. My wife on the other hand was #5 in line at TRus and got none of what she wanted because an employee opened an Emergency exit for his buddies and they all got to the electronics section first. Me on the other hand made $350 selling my extra tickets at BB, to very thankful people who got to sleep all night long in their nice warm dry beds. I EARNED every dime! Why would the BB manager care about selling tickets? That $350 I got just went straight into his store!:D

  8. "make them complete the purchase with the ticket they have in hand."

"Make", being the important word here. Shall you equip the BB employees with guns or tazers to enforce your new purchase law?

A stamp? Wouldn't a microchip tag under the skin make this enforcement so much easier? Oh yeah. They can scan you as you enter and give you special discounts if you are a senior citizen, or one of their target selling groups. Or they can call the police if you have been previously convicted of "merchandise ticket selling".:gdparanoid:

  9. UNETHICAL. I've got another word for it, but I'll refrain from it. Why would you KNOWINGLY take a ticket and sell it when someone else waited perhaps JUST as long as you but you got the last ticket when the person behind you really wanted the item for thier kid?

I would call the police on ANYONE I saw doing that.

It's called Capitalism! And the police officers were standing within 5 ft. while we were making our transactions. When I left they laughed and asked if I got my TV's for Free! It's not illegal, it's not unethical, it is a fair trade of time for money. :yup:

  10. Ethical or Not! I just don't care! Success! Got in line at BB at 3:30pm Thanksgiving. Was #'s 7 and 8! Stayed under lots of blankets! BB was Great! PortaPotties set up, rope set up! The store manager came by asking if everyone was doing alright about 11:30pm! 3:30am. tickets handed out. Got everything I wanted! Got 2 of the 42in Panasonic Tv's, one for me and one for my Dad. Got the Toshiba laptop for my wife. Got 700 blank DVD-R's. Got 2 LCD picture frames. 5 Nintendo DS games. Philips upconvert DVD player. Panasonic cordless phone set. Sold all but 4 of the remaining tickets for $330.00!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Every single person that purchased a ticket was extremely appreciative! They went from depressed to thrilled in the time it took for them to trade me their money for MY tickets!:D Got home by 7:30am, slept for 2 hours then went to work! Can't wait till next year!!

  12. I hadn't heard of them asking for DL's yet. I work for a large potato chip maker, so everyone in line at 12am got a Midnight snack for free. We all had a good time talking with our line mates. Almost everyone in line wished someone had been selling coffee or hot chocolate, me included. Some even suggested hotdogs and cokes. They said they were already sick of Turkey and dressing.

On a side note. Only one person that I sold a ticket to thought he should have gotten it for free. I also gave away for free 2 tickets that no one had bought. They were extremely appreciative. My daughter will be camping with me this year so it ought to be a blast. Goodluck to everyone on BF!!!!!!!! Sgklee
