  1. Check the local papers in the area you want to buy, they have to run in the legal section for three consecutive weeks prior to the sale, thats the law. We won a bid on a foreclosure home in Feb. 2008. I knew of the home situation before the sale, they had walked out because of divorce, bankruptcy etc. not as much just the housing market. So they did not want the home. We were able to walk through and give it a once over, only because I knew them, it was dirty :( It was built in 2004, 2400 sq. ft. and beautiful pool on 1/3 acre. We went to the auction, we were the only bidders, we won the bid at the $382,000. which was the opening bid. Its in an area 1.5 miles from our home in southern Maryland. Have not settled yet, waiting for the judge to sign the final radification of the sale. Then we start with trying to sell ours :) wish us luck.
  2. A sister and brother were killed last week here in So. MD on their way to school :( so things could be worse. I dont know how anyone could handle that amount of grief :( Glad to hear that DD is ok, cars can be replaced, and life will go own, just think of it as another bump in the road :) Happy Thanksgiving!
  3. Things to do:

Sunset Cruise, we boarded the boat thingie kinda in front of dukes on the beach, it was absolutely wonderful, they give free drinks while your out. Go to Trip Adviser and search on the hawaii sites for honolulu area, i did alot of research and had a great trip, the entertainment book had coupons $off at pearl harbor, and discounts for several luaus' the book oahu revealed is a great help, can get at the book stores or amazon, etc. We climbed diamond head early, but it was July 05. Drove around to the north shore, thats worth the trip in itself, a couple of hours up the coast. Pearl Harbor, arrive early 10ish. There is so much to see and do, dont let them scare you about driving in Honolulu, once you figured out the streets it was no problem. I know there is alot more. I had a wonderful trip and cant wait to go back again.

  4. You should have complained to the mgt. they are always willing to make things right. I worked there for over 5 years and saw so many get compted, they want you to come back. The biscuits (i use to have nightmares about them :) after baking get a brush of melted butter/garlic sauce. I loved the salads and pasta entrees, I always called it fast food seafood, get em in get em out :)
