I think many stores are going to offer price match and extended returns given the s-p-r-e-a-d-o-u-t of the sale events!!! They Better do it if they want my money!!!

Kohl's seems interesting and it is only half a mile from my place... I might decide to stand in line to remind me of good old days...

Kotton Kandy machine for $9.98 looks like it will be loads of fun time for the family....

Looking for a deal on a Sony TV (65"+), deals on unlocked iPhone12/13/14 (with gift card?), a basic Chromebook for an elementary school kid, an air fryer or a microwave/toaster + air fryer combo, batteries, jeans for teenager...

Last year I bought a Pixel 8 around Black Friday when they offered a great trade-in value for my Pixel 6 as well as a $250 off ($150 off on their website + $100 additional coupon) making the Pixel 8 a mere $150 for me. Similar things might happen this year. Better not to buy a Pixel right at launch unless you have a good phone to trade-in.

This is so cool

Fully agree on not expecting any great sales.... having said that, will be looking to see any good GC deals on unlocked older iPhone models (13, 14 or 15) and big TVs (65"+) although not very hopeful on TVs as DW is very particular about getting a Sony TV

Same here, have been a loyal fan of Gottadeal since I entered the US in 2006. Since COVID most of the shopping is for ourselves more than gifts for friends and family

2006, my first year in the US as an international student and my first black Friday. Coming from a tropical country, the cold in St. Louis area was unbearable, but I waited all night with fellow students to score my best deal on laptop (a Sony Vaio, I think), a Samsung laser printer and a Nikon digital camera. I think I paid something like $300 or so for all of it and my laser printer lasted till summer 2023 and just died. So looking to score a similar great printer deal this year! This has made me an avid black Friday shopper that continues to this day

I am beginning to think that this is looking like an intentional plan of retailers to confuse with multiple and extended sales so that we can't compare or plan and they get to sell without discounting much.... have a good mind to avoid and skip BF this year.....

I'd go with the $9 stick vac. I had one from that sale that just died down (after 14 years of light use) and I am looking for one and was wondering if I can get one for the same amount... but can't find it at that price anywhere!

If they're waiting to see what others are offering and deciding to undercut the competition, then it's a huge gamble. Not releasing ads for a sale to happen in 1 week is a very risky proposition especially when Kohl's 1 day sale with $15 KC goes live on Nov 4, 3 full days before WM online sale goes live..... WM may lose out when customers have already spent money at competing stores!

Looking for a good deal on galaxy watch 5 or a GREAT one on Pixel Watch. Was waiting for Pixel watch to come out and I'm not impressed at this price. Galaxy watch may come out at $230 and if I can get a Pixel watch under $250, then I might go the Pixel way, else it will be Galaxy 5 which is guaranteeing 4 years of updates and security patches. It would be a bigger bonus if Kohl's has these on their BF sale... I don't mind taking an extra $60-$75 in Kohl's cash

1. Which store do you think will have the best Black Friday sale(s) this year? Based on what I am looking for (Galaxy 5 watch, flash drives etc.) I think Best Buy or Kohl's will have the best deals 2. Do you anticipate shopping in stores on Black Friday this year? Feel free to explain why or why not. Will probably do my shopping online, but will definitely visit stores on Friday just because I've been missing it for over 2 years.... 3. What one aspect of past Black Fridays would you like to see brought back? Camping outside Kohl's and Best Buy so as to get coupons/tokens for high demand items around 2AM on Friday....
