Nice! That worked out well for you. I think I'll go check my husband's list again. He's always updating it.I just found an item on my Wish List and 2 items on family wish lists that were lightning deals. Added those puppies to cart and checked out (each separately to get $1 credit for no-rush shipping).

I have to agree as well. Amazon has been my go to the past couple of years. I don't feel like it's user friendly at all. ☹I don't think anyone like the layout.

I just did a chat with TOyS R US- they said that they will price match and make adjustments for black friday ads if you purchase items 7 days before but must bring in receipts/ads. NOW- i called local STORE- and MGR - said no..........I said I had print out from online discussion and would bring it in- she said - they never have and had not been notified of it either- HMMMMMMMMMMMM. What did anyone else find out?
I had this same situation the past 2 years. Customer service said "yes" and store said "no". The store stood their ground so I couldn't do it.

I know this is a dumb question, but even though you have to wait until Amazon puts this deal out there, is there any way to be notified as to when they do? I mean who has the time to sit around all day and wait for this bargain.
Other than looking at the calendars and checking the timers under the lightning deals in the morning, I don't know of any way to be notified.

Disney Infinity Starter Kit for $37 just went live. Only 28% claimed right now so I got one with no problem. Earlier I bought the Skylanders Swap Force starter kit for $37 well after the deal had started. They don't seem to be moving too quickly... which surprises me. Maybe people aren't expecting the deals to be there this early?

This is my last year trying to shop BF events at Walmart. Last year's midnight events were a nightmare. This event sounded good, but has been so clumsily carried out. The website was not ready to start the sale at the advertised time. Stores put things on sale last night without notice. Items were advertised as available on-line and in-store...with some items only available in-store.

Does anymore know if it's possible (and how) to request holiday toy catalogs be mailed to you? Walmart, Target, Toys r Us... I've always received them no problem, but I moved this year and now nothing
