I splurged and bought myself the new Kindle Paperwhite Signature for my November cruise and a pack of new underwear. I'm quite sure more will find its way to my cart before it all said and done.

Happy holiday weekend to all. Prime Days are nearly here and I’ve got a wishlist full of things I’m hoping will be on sale. Going on a cruise Thanksgiving week so no BF for me this year. Prime Days will be my BF I guess. On a side note one, anyone here ever sailed on Freedom of the Seas?

Rain, rain go away! Has rained off and on the last 3 weekends. Now just waiting n the summer humidity to hit by the end of the coming week. Oh joy……

Happy May! Happy Star Wars Day! the weather has calmed down and festival season has started.

I have always wanted a blue/navy car but when I’m on the lot car shopping I always chicken out. ROFL! I have no idea why either!

Well, I just lived through destructive tornadoes and massive flash flooding the last 4 days here in TN. The local meteorologists were on air for 18+ hours non-stop on Wednesday and Saturday covering the weather. It was said that the NWS out of Memphis issued over 100 tornado warnings last week. Unbelievable weather event that I don’t want to have endure again. My small hometown was hit by a deadly tornado 2 years ago, almost to the day, and another tornado hit in the night Friday/Saturday. There was damage but thankfully it was not massive and not deadly like 2 years ago. I am weather weary for sure. Otherwise Happy Spring to everyone!

You know you live in the Southern Delta lands when a 2-hr drive at night requires 2 separate stops to clean your windshield of the mass of dead bugs piling up on it. Poor bugs but that was a first for me and I have lived here all of my 54 years of life. The front bumper of my white car is black from it. Spring has sprung for sure.

Happy March! Just in time for possible severe weather this coming week. We are still on the weather rollercoaster for temps too. My sinuses are revolting.

We had another round last week so my first week at my new job was interrupted by a snow day, which is a "no pay day" for me since I literally just started. LOL

Happy February! We are experiencing our annual "false spring/summer" with record highs for this week before Mother Nature calms down and brings in the cold again next week. After being on medical leave late summer, then at the end of said medical leave I find out that my company eliminated their local operations where I was working, I finally found a job and start in a couple of weeks, just in time for me to come down with this nasty respiratory illness that over half the state is sick from. Yay me.........
