  1. I went really early yesterday and ended up being first in line! I seen some 8pm sales I wanted and they would only allow a 15 minute pass so at 7:55 my friend got a pass and went and grabbed the other stuff we wanted. I had such a good experience as a first time black friday shopper.. There was even a woman (who i didnt know) who knew I wanted a specific blanket, and she actually went and got it for me! I couldnt believe it!
  2. Hey everyone!

So as the title says, this is my first black friday trip and I`m planning on going to walmart to try and snag one of the Emerson 32inch tv`s.. So here`s my question, Would it make sense to go to one of the walmarts in a small town for a better chance of getting one

I heard people line up DAYS in advance and I can`t do that. Im planning on being in line by 5 pm on Thursday.

  3. I see that Walmart has a 1 hour guarantee on a 32 inch tv. If I were to line up say around 5 pm, what do all of you experienced BF shoppers think my chances of getting one would be? Also, Can one person buy 2 of the exact same TV's?
  4. My daughter is asking for "MAC" makeup. I'm not sure if my wallet can handle that. Were there sales on MAC makeup last year?

I found this place called cosmetic company outlet.. its not a black friday sale but they do have MAC, Estee Lauder & Bobbi Brown with 25 - 40% off retail.

You can go to www.outletbound.com to look for the closest outlet near you. In the "locate-a-store" field, put the name Cosmetics Company or Estee Lauder, and you will get a listing of all the CCO's. Some CCO's are inside outlet stores such as Saks off 5th, Neiman Marcus Last Call, and Nordstrom Rack/ Last Chance. Others are free standing CCO's.

And thank you to everyone else who answered! :)
