    I misread that at first and wondered what the big deal was about a free soda... definitely over the top for a carbonated beverage. :)

    I thought it said "soda" too, I re-read it 4 times. I was wondering who would sleep out for 2 days for a soda! LOL

    I heard a lot of awful stuff about that IKEA opening.....

    It was insane. The first day, it was a free sofa, the second day a chair and then a gift basket with stuff from their market which is no big deal. The guy who was first in line to get the sofa of course made the six o'clock news.

    Depends on the sales. Usually the stores I buy from have pretty good deals all year long. Also, I tend to give gift baskets as gifts and those hardly ever go on sale. I mean the ones Costco, BJs and Sam's sell. Granted, I do wait for Black Friday to buy stuff for my home. Maybe new set if towels, sheets, appliances, that sort of thing.

    IKEA in Miami did something pretty strict when the store opened this August. The line to get a free sofa started on Monday at 5 am I believe it was (the store opened that Wed), they wouldn't allow you to trade or leave your spot, only bathroom breaks, and you couldn't even sleep in your car. And there were security guys "scanning" the lines to see if someone had left, traded, etc. I wonder if these rules are a bit a strict or if they should be somewhat put into practice during Black Friday to try to be "fair"? What do you guys think?

    I think the webcasts are very informative. This is my first time camping out for Black Friday. I've been using GottaDeal.com since 2011 and it's great. The webcasts should have a topic. For example, security during BF, tips for camping out, and so forth. You guys do an amazing job posting the ads as they come out. Nothing really to say against the webcasts. Yes, I think it's very useful to have them in the weeks prior to BF.

    I now have the shirts in my possession :D

     

    They'll be packaged up this week. I'll post when I have a pickup date from USPS and then you can begin expecting them.

     

    For those who purchased shirts, in addition to the bonus GD merch in every box, I also added a few Amazon gift cards to some of the boxes :)

     

    Those who have won shirts (or will win them in the next week or two), you will get a few bonus GD items as well in your package. Your shirts may ship a little later than those who purchased them (I'll probably ship all the prize shirts at once), but don't worry as you'll get them in time for Black Friday.
