  1. I lucked out - I got there when they just announced 75% off. The Sterling Heights store had sooooooo much stuff. I got 3 outdoor inflatables and tons of candles, cups, napkins, blue jean shirts & turtlenecks, etc. Spent $150.

All the gift baskets, colognes, girls make-ups were 75% off too.

  2. The Trivial Pursuit game is not worth the price. I bought it LAST Christmas and it was pretty junky. Amazon was great about taking it back. But, over the summer, I went to a garage sale and the seller must have bought the overage from a store. He was selling them for $2 each (Brand New). I bought one, but still haven't used it:-)
  3. Between Christmas Eve and Christmas, I probably spend about $50-$100. That's for salmon, meat, desserts, sides, etc. But, this year, my b-i-l is in charge of appetizers and s-i-l is bringing a salad, cheese enchiladas and stuffed mushrooms. I'm providing the beef, chicken, desserts.

Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas & Healthy Happy New Year! Enjoy all that eatin'

  4. Christmas Eve is a traditional polish feast called "Wigilia." I make dill pickle soup, pierogi, fish, cucumbers & cream, dessert.

Christmas Day is usually pork roast, festive potatoes, salads. But, this year, I want to do something different. Thinking a taco bar or huge salad bar with all the fixings:-) Pies, cheesecake too.
