[Are you already shopping or do you wait?]

I shop all year long, especially when I find something on clearance.  But don't really start serious shopping until the end of October/ first part of November. 

[Do you secretly get nervous the moment leading up...]

Yes, because  I never know what I'm gonna find.  People fighting over things, getting trampled, getting bonked on the head.  One year when Walmart had their small kitchen appliances for $3, people were tossing them to other shoppers, boxes flying were over my head, pure craziness, but still fun!!

[What city is everyone shopping in?]

We'll be shopping in Gulf Shores Alabama this year ,while on vacation.

[Online or Brick and Mortar? Where do you do the majority of your shopping?]

60/40......60% stores and the rest online, been shopping that was for a few years now.  Its just as exciting for me either way!

This is yummy and easy to make.

 

Chocaroon Pie

 

3 ounces unsweetened chocolate, chopped

1/2 cup unsalted butter

3 eggs

3/4 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon vanilla

2/3 cup sweetened condensed milk

2 2/3 cup flake coconut

 

Heat oven to 350*. Coat a 9" pie plate with non-stick spray.

Melt chocolate and butter on low. Stir together eggs, sugar, flour and vanilla, add to chocolate mixture, stirring to blend. Pour into prepared pie plate. Combine sweetened condensed milk and coconut, spoon over center of chocolate filling, leaving a 1/2 inch border. Bake at 350* for 35-40 minutes or until center is firm, but till moist.
