Mine falls on Black Friday next year...
-
I was able to pick up a Wii today, ended up getting at Best Buy at 6:45, and was the 22 person in line.
-
My local Best buy will have some on Sunday.. I hope I'll get one.. but I'll have to be there early.
-
its very nice of you to this. This one of the many reasons why GottaDeal rocks!!!
-
I am very surprised how hard it is to find a Nintendo Wii, every place I've called and gone to has been sold out!
-
I went to a few different stores and all of them were sold out. I went to Target 2 Best Buys, a Circuit City, Wal-Mart, CompUSA, and a Toys "R" US and Fry's.. all of them were sold out.
-
Went to TRU around 12:30 and was looking at the Wii games. The TRU employee tells me, "we're already sold out of the Wii."
"I have a pre-order" I said smugly.
So here is the breakdown:
Wii $249.99
Spongbob $49.99
MonkeyBal $59.99
Tony Hawk $49.99
- $5 TRU coupon from deposit
- $5 TRU coupon from today (yep, they took the same coupon twice!)
- 10% on today's total for opening a TRU account
- $30 for buying the 3 game bundle
Total out of pocket = $350 for Wii and 3 games. Not bad.
Now can anyone explain to me if I need to buy memory cards or do you get a certain amount with the Wii? Thanks.
Its not needed... there is some memory builtin (512MB). It can be used for Saves, and downloads for the Virtual Console.

PSP3 & Wii
in 2006
the Ps3 will be sold out very quickly, the Wii will be easier to get but will still be popular. -
Goodluck everyone...
-
I don't personally make the dinner, but I help my mom, and I make one dish and the deserts.

I usually just bake for Thanksgiving, Its become tradition that everyone leaves with a loaf of pumpkin bread.
-
Curious can you use pumpkin pie mix (in the can) or just pure pumpkin puree from can? Just curious if there is a difference besides spices?
I just used the pumpkin puree... never tried the pumpkin pie mix
-
I have never made bread before but this sounds so good! What do you mean by make a well?
There should be a hole in the dry ingredients, makes it easier to mix the wet and the dry by hand.
-
I've made this for about 15 years now for thanksgiving. Last year I made 6 batches.
Pumpkin Bread:
3 cups Sugar
3 1/2 cups Flour
2 tsp. Baking Soda
1/2 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Nutmeg
1 tsp. Cinnamon
Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl.
1 cup Oil
2/3 cup Water
4 eggs
1 29 oz can (About 3 ½ cups) canned pumpkin
2 cups chocolate chips
3/4 chopped walnuts
Make a well and place remaining ingredients in well.
Mix and place in three well-greased loaf pans.
Bake at 350 F for 1 hour until a toothpick placed in the center comes out clean.

Great! I can really use this!
I just signed up for this, now I just need to remember to cancel it in 3 months :)
And Ross you can modify the settings so it doesn't upgrade. Pay attention to directions!

Here is an q regarding this: Does anyone knows what happens when you already have a subscription and take the free year? Do you get an extenstion or a second copy?

I'm the only one in the chatroom right now.. guess most people are sleeping.
-
now thats an interesting spelling of the word request... almost looks like Renquist.. but I like the idea, but I'm sure it would have an impact on server preformance
-
You're still required to pay the NY cigarette tax even if you get the cigarettes from out of state
-
CostCo, not sure where the local Sam's Club is, don't know what BJ's is.. Probably some east coast thing. I think that I probably would still go to CostCo even if I lived by myself as I think the stuff they sell is great and a good bargain.
