  1. Saw lots of grocery items on clearance, including 8 count Pop Tarts for $1.81, bags of Lays Potato Chips for $2.83, some Lindt chocolates. Scored a 7 pc Anchor Hocking 7pc glass bake set marked 75% off ($7.48 - DPC #070 02 0427). This came with a 3qt 9x13 dish with plastic lid, a2qt 8x8 dish with plastic lid and a 2 qt round dish with a glass and plastic lid.
  2. I bought two packs of the Old Spice body wash for $2 (half off of $4). The bulk products were only marked 15%. Saw clothes on first clearance markdown of only 25% off, not the usual 30% off.
  3. Found the Lego Space Police set at 75% ($25.24). Also found a random pair of Easter slipper socks. The cashier was able to price them at 90% off, making them 50 cents. Not much of any other clearance. Saw a bunch of paper goods (Vanity Fair napkins and some plates, not sure of brand) marked 30%.
  4. I went to the Dearborn store. The signs were for 75% off, but things were ringing up 90% off. I got some of the Mighty Beans (in the regular toy aisles), some Peeps, marshmellows, fruit snacks and a random Lego Star Wars kit (the $3.99 one). Unfortunately no twistable crayons:(
  5. Keej, what store were you shopping at? Anything good left at 75%?
  6. These Halo items were in the Easter section, with all the candy, baskets and trinkets. There were 3 different ones.
  7. Hmmm..the associates in Electronics told me that they haven't made the PS2 in years and that the only way to find games to play would be to find used games as PS3 games are not backwards compatable.
  8. The Easter items were marked down with the 70% signs others have mentioned. The only candy left were Starburst jelly beans, the Skittle metal tins and some Hershey kisses (some unique flavor, can't remember what it was....coconut?). Very, very little Easter items left and very, very little clearance in the store. Was quite disappointed, but I guess I didn't overspend/overbuy, which sometimes I have a tendency to do with clearance Saw a new in the box PS2 console, marked down on clearance from $99.99 to $49.99. Was told PS3 has been out for maybe 6 years? The guys in electronics say the PS2 console had been sitting in the display case since 2008?!?!? I don't even know if that is possible! Would be pretty difficult to find games. It should be clearanced down more than 50%!.
  9. The pink and lavendar ones were polka-dotted on the inside. The red and blue ones were striped. I have seen them at various Targets on the clearance endcaps and some are located in the aisles of where the kids' room decor is located at. I picked up a red/blue one that had wheels and a strap/handle to pull on clearance (at 50% off). I had seen this one located in the storage area where the hangers, plastic storage totes are located at a couple of other locations. So not sure if all stores clearanced this on too? I've seen inconsistency where one store will have it on clearance and others have it at regular price.
  10. Are these the red/blue ones for boys and pink/lavendar for girls? If so, they have been 50% for about a week in my area. There are 2 sizes of bins with the side handles and then there is the one that has wheels and a strap for a handle. For some reason, the larger of the bins were only 30% off but the other sizes were 50%.
  11. What are the Lego houses?
  12. Ran into Target at lunch and bought the following clearance items: - 5 sets of cork backed placements (2 per pack) for $2.24. I happened to have purchased these last night but at $6.98 a pack, so I will return the more expensive ones. - Champion Mens mesh exercise shorts from the Great Save area - these were $1.87. - Champion boys mesh exercise shorts from the Great Save area - these were $2.25. - the hard plastic water tumblers that are double insulated - $2.24 Saw very little bedding left that was 75%, still had some 50% off bedding. There was the Bakugan toys still at 30%. The Great Save items did not have a consistent mark down pattern. Some was still scanning at full price (the 2 pack bed pillows, batteries). Some of the food items were 15% off, I believe the underwear was 30% off and the exercise wear was either 50% or 75%, depending on what it was.
  13. Forgot to put in my last post... - Bedding ranged from 30%, 50%, 75% off. The 75% off was a lot of the duvet sets, bed skirts, the black.white floral quilt. The 50% were the sherpa throws, some holiday pillows (can't believe these have been around for so long and don't know why they weren't marked down with the Christmas items - there has been a full endcap since before Christmas). - Lots of picture frames for 75% off. - Kitchen basket line (various sizes) for 75% off. - Boys footie pjs (sizes XS-XL) for 75% off. - Didn't see any toys at all. - Kids' fabric storage totes in 2 or 3 various sizes - the girls smaller totes were 50% off but the larger totes were only 30% (didn't have a chance to scan the larger ones). The boys were 50% for both sizes. - Snow shovels were 30% off.
  14. Picked up a few great deals today. I had not been to Target in a couple of days, so I was going through withdrawal! Found the Scrubbing Bubbles daily sprayer refills on clearance for half off ($2.07) and a large 409 All Purpose Cleaner refill bottle for half off ($2.14). Got 2 packages of the RE decorative shelves for 50% off ($7.48). Small lampshade for 75% ($1.98). Large brushed silver airtight canister for 75% off ($3.98)
  15. Finally I have seen a Target where they are offering 30% off clearance (in women's clothes) at the Commerce, MI store! Stopped today and nothing left of the 75% clearance toys. Sporting goods had a few duffle bags, camping nylon jackets that fold up into a small bag, a few lunch boxes, water bottles and dart boards. Winter sleds/snowboards/luges scanned as 30% off even though they are all on a shelf that says 50% off. I picked up a ESPN KZone baseball set for $12.48 (was 75% off), a package of compression travel bags for $3.42 (75% off) and 2 Detroit Tiger beach towels that were marked as is for $2.56 a piece. I saw these towels at another Target in the sports team clothing that is generally located near toys/sporting goods - tried scanning them but item was not found. A manager said she would charge me $12.99 each, so I put them back. Good thing I did since this store marked these down to $2.56!
  16. Ran over to Target during lunch. For the 75% clearance markdowns, I bought: - Eddie Bauer rolling duffle - $19.98 - 20" black duffel bag - $2.48 - Kelty sleeping bag $14.98 - Converse belted sweater - $7.48 - College logo slippers - $4.98 - queen size inflatable mattress - $5.00 For the 50% clearance markdowns, I bought: - several women's long sleeve t-shirts - $7.48 and $10.98 - boys snowpants - $8.48 For the 30% clearance markdowns, I bought: - 5 pairs of boys fleece Champion pants - $6.98 each - boys snowboarding helmet - $13.98 - several
  17. All the clearance luggage I saw today was marked down to 75% off, including Swiss Army and Eddie Bauer. I didn't see any 75% jackets left (but I wasn't really looking for them) but all the snow pants (coordinating and basic black) were marked 50% off.
  18. I bought one last year (I believe it is very similar). My sons still play with it with their friends. My sons are 9 and 12.
  19. I did see the sporting goods at 75% off today. No tents left at the Dearborn location.
  20. I was at the West Livonia Target, at 8 Mile and Haggerty.
  21. Cruised 2 Targets today. I got the Star Wars Millennium Falcon - Remote Control toy. Not sure what the original price was at the store - the Target website has it as $49.99. I got it for $12.48! Must have been a return. Also found a Bakugan for $2.78. Found 2 of the Scrubbling Bubbles power sprayers that were on clearance for $5.94. I had coupons for $5 off. Nice deal! Found men's slippers for 75% and I got myself a pair of dress boots for $7.48. When I was at a different Target last night, one of the associates told me that they had an additional 30% off clearance the day before and was supposed to have it again today. I've never seen that before at any of the Targets in Michigan. I think I have seen someone post on here that their store had an additional % off clearance. Do your stores ever do this? Needless to say, when I went back today, I didn't see any signs for an additional % off nor did any of my clearance ring up a % off.
  22. I got 2 pairs of womens suede boots (the style is called Karenza) in the store. Apparently they were an on-line purchase, returned at the store. On-line the boots are $24.99, in the store they were marked "online purchase" on the clearance tag for $6.26. I have not seen this style at the store, but generally don't shop in the shoe dept. so I don't know for sure. The quality is a lot nicer than I would have expected. http://www.target.com/Xhilaration-Karenza-Suede-Button-Boots/dp/B003ASHZI4/ref=sr_1_87?ie=UTF8&id=Xhilaration%20Karenza%20Suede%20Button%20Boots&node=1038576%7C1287991011&searchView=grid5&searchSize=90&keywords=womens%20boots&searchPage=1&searchNodeID=1038576%7C1287991011&sr=1-87&searchRank=target104545&frombrowse=0&qid=1295657126 I picked up a pair of Ugg like pink slippers, in a girls' size 4/5 (I wear a 7.5 usually but these seems to fit) for $3.24. Lots of shoes were 75%, but still some styles of slippers were only 50%. Lots of clothing in the various depts on clearance, ranging from the 30%, 50% and 75% off. Not too much in women's pjs though. Very, very few toys. Saw the cleaning supplies that were 15% off, but there wasn't a lot left. Lots of luggage marked 50%.
  23. I went to two Targets today (Novi and West Livonia, MI). Novi was pretty light on toys. I ended up getting Boris the Dinosaur for $8.48 and Mega Duplo blocks set for $7.48 here and a small Power Miners set for only 50% at the other store. West Novi had a bit more toys, but it was pretty cleared out. I was surprised to see about 5 of the Star Wars action figure sets and some of the bigger girl toys everyone has been mentioning. My score was men's flannel pj pants for 75%. They were $2.48. I got a Kelty sleeping bag for $14.98, originally $59.99. I got a pair of Twinkle Toys shoes for my goddaughter for $6.24. My kids are 9 and 12, so they are pretty specific about the toys they want (video games, certain Lego sets, etc.) so I don't buy the volumes I used to. I also don't stock my gift closet as much now that their friends seem to be more particular as well. I guess the money I don't spend filling the gift closet is money I can spend on other Target clearance!
  24. I went to another Target. No Mighty Beans and very little toy clearance; they didn't have the full couple of aisles of clearance that the other stores seem to have. For the 90% off, I got 2 of the Corona and Budweiser beer bucket and glass sets, 8 pairs of the Paul Frank mukluks, a men's toiletry bag, a Nick and Nora pj set, and a pair of Christmas slippers. For 75% off, I got 2 packages of the Fruit of the Loom boy shorts. Does anyone know what happens to the items they salvage? Do the items get donated, destroyed, thrown away?
  25. Hello all, This is my first post, so hopefully I'm doing this right! Thanks all for the information you've posted. It has sent me back to Target numerous times the last couple of weeks, more than I care to admit too! I got a lot of great deals at 90% off today. I went to 3 Targets and I found 3 packages of the Vanity Fair dinner napkins, 6 packages of Christmas plates, Dixie plates with the penguin motif, probably about 14 rolls of tape, 2 Christmas pillows, Christmas sprinkles, the infamous Scotch brand scissors, 3 pack of men's boxers, Peanuts boxers, the Paul Frank kids slipper socks, Christmas stationary, men's toiletry bag, 12 pack of salad plates, remote control caddy, 2 Christmas shirts for ladies and more than I can possibly remember without looking at the receipt. I think a few of the things came from returns or possibly hidden on the sales floor or stock room. I was amazed at what I found today that was not part of the 90% Christmas clearance. I got a Cannon A1100 camera for $74.99 (clearanced at 50% off original price of $149.99) because the new model had come out), 3 pairs of ladies satin pajamas that were repriced at $3.51, $4.4.9 and $4.98, party invitations and thank you notes 50% off.
