Our Walmart always wraps plastic around the BF sale items on pallets and nobody can touch them until the appointed sale start time. So if Walmart is opening at 10pm nobody can start "shopping" until then. Why are some of you getting to Walmart so early?

Because some of walmart hands out vouchers for some of door buster items which means be at the line!!!

with past years as my marker, if you want something thanksgiving night or midnight, you may need to plan on late Wed. afternoon.

so people are heading out around 8, 9pm for 10pm open?? Don't you think that will be too late?

I'm confused about walmart opening at 10pm on Thanksgiving. So no one is allowed in the store before 10pm?

Don't you guys think people will be already lined up by 8 or 9pm???

So a lot of stores this year will be opening 10pm or 12am.

That just threw me off my schedule big time.

I'm thinking I need to head out around 4pm to get decent spot in the line.

What about you guys??

I don't like it at all. I mean if they're gonna have sales at 12am, then what time on Thanksgiving people are going to line up?

I'm assuming by 5, 6pm on Thanksgiving, people will line up. So should I be there like 6, 7 hours before?

I've talked to many people and came to conclusion that THEY SIMPLY WON'T SAY ANYTHING TO YOU!

Especially on the phone, even you go to store and try to ask, they'll say either no they don't have in stock or they don't know.

So your best bet is going to store person as soon as you see "in store only", go ask for manager.

the link is not 100% accurate. So I guess you have to take your chances.

THanks, I used the tracking and the store nearest me shows them in stock. I am on the phone with them rightnow. They will start selling them at 8 pm. No one in line yet, but I don't know if I want to drive 60 miles when they wouldn't even tell me how many they had.

I've been to three different bb stores around and usually they get 25 of each unless it's bigger town.

I heard some bigger cities got like 50 of each. Anyway good luck!

here's the link, I won't be needing them because I got 1 of each 16 and 32gb this morning!!!

I saw in store only on availibility last night around 11 15pm, I missed one that had in stock day before and

I heard one of the bb staffs saying people lined up since 5am!! So I headed out there around 4 45am

only one guy was there, waited till 9am or so and they handed out tickets. 27 of 16gb 25 of 32gb.

I live in Omha, NE and I wanted that $198 laptop sooo bad!

Went to WM at 9:30 pm to check out how many people are waiting.(I live like 10 mins from WM)

There were at least 20 people ahead of me, so I stayed in line.

In a couple of hours, one group in front of me,(4 adults) left. Two behind me also left.

One of the managers came and started counting people in line and told us they've got 57 laptops.

 

around 1am or so, the manager came back, now they have only 22!!!

I was 16th in line and got one!

 

It was so crazy how people got mad and furious if anyone was holding spot for someone else.

 

Did you guys get everything you wanted?

Me! I also want the Ipod with gc. I'm sending my husband and son to walmart to get those two items and I will stay home ( yay me!) and try to get the $198 t.v. and the $69 blue ray online.

Walmart has an eMachines for $198 and rumor has it that BB will have an unadvertised one also.

Interesting, I was going to Walmart for that $198 laptop hoping to pick up a couple. But even BB has them, I will probably going to Walmart knowing the fact that

they will be onen since midnight which means the line could be inside of the store. Anybody can confirm this? and do you guys think WM's $198 is cheapest laptop
