  1. Are the products full-sized this year?

    Yes, the products are full-sized.

Did you have to sign for the package? FedEx tried to deliver a pkg yesterday. Thinking this might be what it is???

I caught the Fed-Ex guy just as he was leaving me a note on the door...so i assume you DO have to sign for it. I bet hat's what your pkg is!

Oh, and sorry I didn't get a picture up. I had already put all my thing ups before I read your post about posting a pic.:o

  2. I'm thinking SITCOM. Starts out set in an office setting, lots of twenty-something-underpaid-cubicle sitting-genius types who are always on the lookout for how to make their pennies stretch and their "bosses" (who happen to be Big corporate types who are getting rich off of the consumer) pay. I picture a setting not unlike The Office.....but without the peusdo-documentary type filming. There's an uber-nerd, Phil, who is only tolerated because he is such a whiz at finding the best techno-deals. Matrix Mike, who dodges almost getting busted doing the dirty work every week. And of course, office super hero, Lexi, who distracts upper-management with her feminine charms to keep the boys out of trouble. Of course, upper-management guys are portrayed as borderline dunces who never really quite catch on to how their employees are spending their time.

**Any names and/or personalities portrayed are purely fictional and are not based on any real person. Really.

  3. I always wondered why my daddy (God rest his soul) said that "Wal-Mart was a bunch of communists.":tongue1:

I guess I don't understand because I can't see how GD releasing the ad early could do anything but be a positive thing for WM.....and how this type of legal action could be anything but negative publicity.

  4. I would like to see the printed ads come out in the newspaper the Sunday Before Thanksgiving, instead of Thanksgiving Day. Sure would help with the plot-n-plan approach you have to implement on a day that is already full of stress.

Also, I'd like to see more online sales advertised. I shopped Old Navy online after midnight last year...and that free-d up so much time and trouble.

Finally....Remember when all the stores had those great giveaways? I remember rushing around and collecting toys, makeup, food items, ornaments. It was like a scavenger hunt. BRING THAT BACK!!

  5. ** I take a 1 inch binder with clear pocket pages and put each ad in its own pocket along with the lists of "wants" from each store and any coupons or notes to myself. I then put the pages in the order I plan on hitting each store.

** I put my credit card in my back right pocket, for easy access...and then I put all my receipts in my back left pocket so I can keep up with them easily.

** I also learned the hard way to NEVER take a kid with me.:D
