is it just me or are there alot less good deals on toys at walgreens this year?

We also live in a small town... both my sister and I were not looking for the big items and i was going to need to use layaway so we waited till around 4am to go... when we got there we were the only ppl in the place besides about 100 WM workers... as we wondered around and talk to differnt ppl who work there we were told that 2 different employes were hurt one got her hand broke and another a broken arm...

for the last few months I have heard many times that stores are not going to be stocking as many items as they have in past years....if this is true layaway is a good way to make sure you get that toy your kids really wants so the week before christmas you are not going to every store to find it.

I have never bought an Item that came with a GC... how do they work is there a time limit on them or can I pay for the item then use the GC to buy other items I want that day?

in past years the bike came in a box and had to be assembeled... so yes they were on a pallet.

we live between Reno Nv.. ( they have 5 WM in that area) and a small town in northern Ca. I have seen that the small town walmart is not as busy and many times have lots of stuff left at the end of the sale.. last year I did not get my jammies and barbies till the tuesday after and they were still the BF sale price.

so true I dont have credit cards or do I want them.. but I will use the lawaway if I can add BF stuff.. my husband does not get his bonus untill the first week in Dec.

I found a sight that looks pretty good my sister has used them in the past.. shipping seems reasonable for orders under $29 itr is only $4.99 and over $59 is free. you have to buy alot of things by the dozen also.. but i found some cute things

we live in a small town and the only place to shop is walmart and it is 45 miles away. I am looking for a good place online I can order easter goodies for my kids that is different then walmart. orental trading has neat stuff but u have to order so much of each item. I have 3 kids I do not need 12 of every thing... TY

thank you I will bed headed to reno tomorrow and have a chance to check target and ON... and i am loving Younkers.. so many choices I may have to buy some larger sizes for next winter

some how in all the christmas rush we missed getting our 9 year old a new coat... and her old one is falling apart. anyone know of a good web sight or even off line store having deals on kids outerware.

I really am not sure if this is an option but I saw today that game stop has refurbished wii for $99.. I am thinking about this as an idea for my kids.. money is very tight this year and it is also the main thing my kids have asked for.... my 2 youngest have never had a gaming console so I am thinking of trying a refurbished one and if they do really well with it maybe getting a better one at tax time.. does anyone know anything about games stops rep for refurbished.

we live in a very rual area and alot of ppl here use them... my daughter has had her for about 6months she has the basic phone nothing special and is very hard on it and it is still working great. I bought hers from the strait talk websight and got a really good price on it. about $30 less then to buy from walmart... so you might try the websight for a better price on the phone you want

I love this ... we started just doing 12 days of xmas a few years back the kids get a small gift at night after dinner... I love the idea of the elf.
