I'm thinking about getting one on BF...the question is what deal is the best?!!? I'm tempted to get the one from JC Penney...with the rebate but the kohls deal looks good.
-
Looking for the thanksgiving week ad that is usually better than thanksgiving/bf ad.
-
I went to CVS earlier to get some deals and was able to get a Kohls giftcard with $15 back in ECB. So bought that for some of the stuff I am going to buy tomorrow plus have some ECB #winwin

I'M HOPING the coupon stays good until midnight on Sunday or when the black Friday online stuff starts. I need a new KitchenAid and I keep going back and forth if I should buy now with the $70 off in coupons or wait a day and then I might get coupons plus the kohls cash.

This is the one store I miss since moving to Florida from Texas. I hope they expand to Florida someday.

Some interesting things but I probably won't get there until later in the evening or on Friday.

*YAWN*
That is really al they are having? That isn't any different than anything else. I get 20% off coupons year round.

that's how I shop sometimes lol
Me2! We did this once!
I was working at The Children's Place at Tanger Outlets last year and worked 10-2 Thanksgiving Night and 11-6 Friday. It was a little tiring after hosting dinner at our house, but overall it was fun! It was all hands on deck, but we got to put in for that shifts we would prefer and then that got divided up as best they could. Everyone brought a dish and we had a buffet set up in the stockroom. It was fun to work with all the girls you typically didn't see. The customers were awesome, everyone was so nice! It was very festive! A couple people were like "aww I wish you didn't have to work tonight" but I'm thinking well if that was true you wouldn't be here shopping. Lol.
The only bad thing I can think of is this woman who came in on Friday in the middle of the chaos and wanted to return her items for BF prices but didn't have her reciept OR the items with her! She caused a big stink, wouldn't move, wouldn't leave, went through the entire chain of management that was in the store, held up a register for a really long time causing commotion with the customers behind her in line, it was a mess. I don't even remember how it all worked out because I was ringing on a different register at the time and then went on break while they were still dealing with her. After she left, she called to complain about the service she received, but instead of calling corporate or anyone who mattered, she called our store. The very store she had just left. What a weirdo.
And FYI, The Children's Place was running the same exact sale we had run for two weeks prior to BF, and then ran that same sale for two weeks after. We just changed the signs to the same wording but with Black Friday graphics. We did the signs Tuesday night. The $4.99 fleece doorbusters were still $4.99 a few weeks later. They eventually went to $2.99. Most of the outlet stores did that, just ran basically the same sales, maybe with a doorbuster or a coupon. Don't believe the outlets hype for BF. Lol
Wow that lady obviously wasn't thinking! I work in a restaurant and the other day this lady ate at the restaurant left and then called the restaurant wanting to complain about the bad service she received instead of doing it before she left. So weird.

I felt the same way about the boots...they are always popular in black friday ads though.
I liked the deal on comforters as I am in need for a new one...but I also kind of laughed at the "holiday themed" ones is that really necessary?!!? Even if I had a guest room and a lot of holiday guests I feel like they'd make fun of me for having it.

I know it may be another week or so before we get anymore ads but let me just say...They are killing me with the anticipation of waiting!!!! LOL!!!!! I'm so ready to see some ads for the stores that I shop at!! So ready to start planning my shopping list for that day!!!!
I know me2!! I've been checking this site daily!!!

My boyfriends mom needs a new tv hers has black lines on the screen. My Bf wants guitar hero live so we'll see if we find any deals. Other than that I'll probably be scouring dvd n video game deals

Yeah they got up like the day before or something dumb

I LOVE shopping at CVS on black friday. Depending on the year sometimes the ad starting the Sunday before is better than black friday weekend but I always end up at CVS and get all the free stuff with ECB Thanksgiving Week.
I almost always go to Walmart and Target. The other stores I hit up just depend on where I am (if I'm in a different city/visiting family/what we're up to). There is an outlet mall near me sometimes we go there. It also depends on what specific items i'm looking for (electronics vs housewares vs clothes).

I'd like to help with some content writing if you still need help. I have a blog but no one really cares about black friday that reads it. I'd love to write about black friday stuff to people that care.
I wrote this post of tips last year http://bethannesbest.com/10-black-friday-shopping-tips-crazy-shoppers/

There is a site my mom got me on, alieexpress. Everything gets shipped from China and takes FOREVER. I ordered a bunch of Christmas gifts from there so I can be sure it gets here in time. That is all I have done so far though. One thing I did this year was I saved so much a month in my budgeting software (I use YNAB-You Need A Budget) so that now I have plenty of money saved for all the Christmas Gifts I need to purchase.

I'm going to be looking for the Guitar Hero Live 2 pack bundle for the Wii U and possibly Splatoon for the Wii U as well. Right now it's looking like the GH bundle with 2 guitars is going for $149.99...I don't know if it will go down, hoping to at least get a deal with a gift card of some sort.
I was just in Target and my boyfriend wasn't expecting the price to go down by the holidays...but I'm hoping a giftcard deal at least.
-
I'll be interested to see what comes up here. My boyfriend has a PS4. I really would like a WII U. My boyfriend says Nintendo is coming out with a new system so it's dumb to buy a WII U but I don't think that will be for at least a year or so...so may WII U stuff will be cheap this christmas..I guess we'll see.

Another newer streaming service is Blab.IM it lets 4 people chat at once and has a chat feature. Looking forward to the streams and another black friday!
-
It's almost mid October...hopefully we start to see ad leaks soon.
-
I use a budgeting software called YNAB and I have a "Christmas" category that I use year round to save a little bit each month. My mom told me she has already finished all her christmas shopping..I haven't even started! I'm awful at buying gifts I never know what to buy people. I know my boyfriend would be happy with PSN giftcards but that seems so lame.

One year we went to Walmart back in the days of the 5am starts on FRIDAY! I was waiting in line for a TV and my mom would walk around to see what they had out/where and she saw about 10 people she knew from work/church/friends. It was pretty entertaining!

Man I keep missing these webcasts! I hope to make it this Saturday!
