Has anyone seen any Black Friday type deals on the small trees you put outside next to your front door? I bought my current ones at a Black Friday deal years ago and I remember that this year I wanted to replace them. I ordered the Propel Cloud Rider drone, normally $149.99 for $79.99. I'm pretty excited about it and can't wait to try it. I was waiting for something good looking for my first drone that wasn't too expensive but wasn't cheap either.

Not sure if everyone's Old Navy was 50% off Wednesday. The ad said it was going to be Thursday & Friday. I opened a Old Navy Visa card and got an additional 10% off so was really pleased with that.
The Target ad wasn't available when I first got on at 3:15 this morning so I started to order things from Best Buy, then Target's sale went online so I switched what I could to buy from Target because I have a Target card.
So from Target I got 2 copies of San Andreas on Blu Ray (one for dad and one for me) and Arrow: Third Season on DVD. From Best Buy I ended up getting Interstellar on Blu Ray for $7.99 because Target never did release it for the sale price of $4 that the ad said to their online sale. I didn't want to go in the store just for one item so got it at Best Buy. I also got The Hobbit (Part 2 and 3).
At Walmart, I was very happy to get the $59.99 Fitbit shipped to my house, didn't want to step foot in any Walmart to pick it up

Glad to hear that some stores will not be open on Thanksgiving and will give their employees the day off to be with their families: Costco, Game Stop, Nordstrom are 3 that will definitely be closed.

Has no desire to go shopping on Thanksgiving Day. I hope all employees on that day are those that volunteered for that shift and hope they are getting something extra for working on Thanksgiving.

My tips are:
- wear comfortable shoes, Black Friday shopping is not a fashion contest, who knows how long you will spend in line.
- wear layers, I already saw this tip before but it cannot be understated, I've taken off a heavy jacket and a sweatshirt in store, had both tied around my waist
- bring snacks on your trip, granola bar, m&ms, who knows how long you'll be in the shopping mall before you see the food court and the might be a ton of people there when you decide you have time to eat.

On the Black Friday tracker, the link for the "Select Blu-ray Movies, 160 Titles" takes you to a list of all DVDs at Best Buy (sale and non-sale), none of which seem to be on sale for $3.99

Is it just me or does that Folding Bungee Chair on page 25 look uncomfortable?
Look at the way the kid is sitting in it? He's thinking "take the photo quick so I can get out of this chair".

All of the DVDs pallets were shrink-wrapped, some you couldn't tell what was inside. There were people standing around every pallet. I think they might have opened one of them before 8 but I didn't have my watch with me. Anyway, noone could find Brave, Spiderman or Heroes Season 4 on Blu ray. I heard several employees saying those couldn't be found. I did not try our other Walmart. I was standing at the pallet with the Big Bang Theory Season packs, those flew off the shelf. Plenty of Supernatural were left I was happy to get out of there with A-Team blu ray for $7.96, BattleShip DVD for $8.96, Wrath of the Titans $4.96 and Journey 2 Mysterious Island for $4.96. I bravely wandered around the store looking for the $5 CDs and never found them. I wanted the Rod Stewart Christmas CD. I did firnd the $6 Men's sleep pants and grabbed 1. The clothing main ailses with their sale stuff was packed. I checked out at the self checkout aisle. I'm glad they had extra employees around specifically for those aisles as some games or movies required supervisor passwords to check if you're 18. I've got to say I was hoping to come back home and find their sale available online but no, pretty disappointed that Walmart didn't do that. I am thankful that Best Buy and Target had their sale available online. We had about 10 tents at our Best Buy store when I passed it around 6pm last night.

I think I read a strategy to their "free" items but never read the article. Can someone explain how to best take advantage of their items you purchase and get extra bucks for that amount of that item?
