    Gave them out yesterday at 3pm.  Only one entrance.  They went quickly.  JCP in Taylor, MI lost power at around 3:45pm.  I left at 5pm at the end of my shift and we still did not have power.  all of the customers had to leave due to security reasons.  They brought out tons of racks and they put everyone's stuff on hold for them.  took the employees upstairs as food had just been delivered for the evening shift.  Had a pizza party while waiting for the power to be restored.  Don't know if it ever came back up last night.  Will find out when I go in this morning.

    Starts today and goes thru next Wednesday.  You can get the Black Friday pricing and items early.  You reserve your items and pay for them at a register that thinks it is Thanksgiving.  Pricing as if you are shopping on Thanksgiving or Black Friday pops up.  The items are put in locked vaults. On Thanksgiving,  all of the items are charged and you can pick them  up at your leisure without having to wait in line on Thursday and Friday.  Come in on Saturday, Sunday or Monday and just pick up your items.  Saves you the craziness when we open.  We literally treat those days like you are in a deli-----we have numbers given out and you must be buying fine jewelry in order to get waited on.  :trampolin  HAPPY SHOPPING

    Everyone had to go into the store manager office and have them read a script to us about secrecy and that any information given about Black Friday should be kept confidential until November 12th when JCP would officially announce the hours/ad etc.  2 hours later, you guys had it on your site.  I downloaded it and took it to the manager.  So much for having to keep a secret.  HA HA :fruitsex:

    I used to love shopkick but they keep decreasing the amount of points you can get individually and also many of the walk in stores have either turned off their detectors or they aren't working. Can't get any Macy's walk in points at all.  So either shopkick is doing it or the stores are. This will be my last year trying to get any points.  But looking forward to Christmas Shopping

    I had the first shift last night til 12:30am and am getting ready for my second shift at 6:30am.....It was crazy last night.  We ran out of snow globes and gift cards.  It was like lets make a deal.  The people that got the $100 gift cards were hilarious with their reactions.  We hope to have more globes delivered this morning on the early trucks.  Happy Shopping

    JCP was crazy from 8 til midnight.  Most of the pajama's were gone.  gloves that were $1.99 non-existent.  Levi's were pretty picked over.  also the coats were 70% off and there wasn't many left of the nice wool ones.  Jewelry department was swamped but they were giving out numbers like at a deli meat counter and it kept people from taking cuts.  It kept things moving and I was able to shop while waiting for my number to be called.
