Do any of you know how sams club does there black Friday sales online, I noticed the hp 17.3" for $499 said it's available online but don't want to miss out? I'm thinking I'll go camp out, but thought if I can buy it on my phone while camping at wallmart that would be best scenario.

Just got back from the local Walmart. Was back in lawn and garden looking at Christmas stuff and in the greenhouse area, they had paper over the doors so that you could not see in with a sign up that said associates only. Normally only one or 2 people working back there but there was about 7 today standing around. Heard one of them saying to another to make sure they guarded the doors. They were acting very strange. One went behind the doors and the doors did not close all the way so I tried to get hubby to run over and take a peek but he wouldn't. Seems like if they already had blitz stuff, that workers would be letting things spill.

What are your opinions on the Sony vaio laptop upgrade to 4gb ram and bluray, that seems to be a pretty good deal to me

Check out the Samsung Focus, it's a new "Windows Phone 7" phone that actually seems to have a good enough processor speed to do everything they have always wanted.

I already have a bluray player. I just have a large amount of kids movies on bluray, and since I take my laptop on trips and vacations anyway figure it will be easiest to just upgrade the laptop so my little one will still be able to watch her movies when we travel.

Anybody have any idea how much it would cost to upgrade to a bluray player on a laptop(equip. & install). Also what other specs to make sure the laptop can run bluray on my tv. It seems like this black Friday will have alot of deals but none with bluray so I am trying to figure out other alternatives.

Thank you both for your feedback, I saw there is currently an Acer that fits many of my needs on woot today. But more than anything that along with your input has encouraged me to keep waiting for the perfect deal.

Do you think they will have the e machine laptops again this year for 199.99? I am thinking of holding off for those, but I am not sure! Is this a good deal????
Circuit City has a descent ASUS Netbook right now for $179, very good price in my opinion.

So I saw this event and was excited to see the first laptop deal (that I'm aware of). I can not wait to see some higher end laptops on sale. That is the only item I'm looking for this black Friday. I have been searching the black Friday ads, oh wait...there hasn't been any yet, let's get some ads for me to go thru!

At least: 4GB ram / i5, i7, or phenom processor / 15.6" screen
Preferred: 6 GB ram / 17" screen / fingerprint reader / blue-ray
Purpose of laptop: photo editing(family photos) / blue ray player when traveling
Trying to stay under $750. Thanks for any help, I have been looking mostly at HP and Toshiba but will consider all.
