  1. I placed 2 orders for 2 hoodies each. thankfully, all were received in time and in good condition, but sizes were inconsistent and ran small. Did anyone notice that the sweatshirts seem to be shipping from the local stores depending on which NCAA team you ordered. For example, I ordered a Syracuse and Wisonsin pair. My SU hoodie came with a cash register receipt from a store in the Syracuse, NY area and my Wisconsin hoodie came with a cash register receipt from a store in Wisconsin close to the university. This seems like a very inefficient way of shipping your mechandise, especially at the holidays!
  2. Ordered on 12/12 and one hoodie was delivered early this morning. HOWEVER, the women's front zip hoodies run small. I usually wear a medium and ordered a large for a looser fit and to allow for layering. I tried it on this morning and it's quite fitted without anything on under it. I think I'll try ordering a set in XL. Seems to be good quality but thinner than I expected, too.

Too bad...they are out of XL in the teams I wanted.:(

  4. Tried to use this coupon on 2 hoodies and I got a message that I hadn't met the coupon requirements. I increased the number of hoodies to 4 and the coupon worked. Then, when I came to the order review screen I changed my order back to 2 hoodies and the coupon discount didn't change. I just received an email confirmation so I hope it will work. Two hoodies shipped for $32.33 - great deal! THANKS!
  5. I got my sweaters and scarf today. I am SOOO glad I order a size up. I would usually wear and 8/10 Medium, but ordered a Large in all the sweaters. They are still fitted but not too tight. They scaf is very long and a looser knit than I expected, but I like it. All in all, a great deal and I'm very pleased. THANKS!

I just found the "Secret Reward" card in the small booklet enclosed in the package. Glad I saw it and didn't through it away! Does anyone know if you find out its' worth before you actually check out? Just curious!

  6. Does anyone else think that the picture in the BF Target ad for the Dyson DC17 actually looks like the Dyson DC25 (which is a better model)? The DC17 is yellow and the DC25 is purple. The vacuum in the picture look purple to me. Any thoughts?
  7. several hours and 3 targets later...

I come home empty handed and $#%@^! pissed! Everywhere explicitly refused to honor the TRU 2-Day "Doorbuster" sale even with the Price Match Policy in hand! Two of the Target stores had the same price match policy posted at Guest Services but they pulled out a "store copy" of the price match policy that had color graphics. In this "store copy" it clearly stated that they were not to honor "timed sales/events" (such as 5am-10am) or "earlybird/doorbuster" sales. I asked why the public price match policy did not state any of that and they each told me that it was "up to corporate!" I demanded they honor their price match policy that they post publicly in their stores and online and they would not because the "store copy" states that they don't need to. I understand if its policy but they should have the common sense to post their actual policy in place of the stripped down version to not have more issues like this!

I called Guest Services (the 800 #) and complained to them and THEY AGREED WITH THE STORE! I was baffled and offended when they told me they were "sorry the price match policy was not clear to you."

How could it be clear to ANYONE if they don't post it ANYWHERE that they don't match doorbusters but instead of following the publicly posted Price Match Guarantee they follow the Corporate "store copy" only!

I just wanted some Alphabet Pals for my niece and my friends' baby.

I remember how much it sucked working there when I was in college but since then I always thought the shopping experience was as close to great customer service as it should be.

    After tonight, I don't know anymore... :(

It seems there has been a lot of recent problems with Target's new price matching policy. I know the policy is new this year and this is the first holiday shopping season to test it. However, if there are this many discouraged customers just on the message board, think of how many are really out there. We should all flood the website with emails and start calling the Target 800# to complain. It's also helpful for find out the name and contact info of your specific stores' district manager and call or write them. I also agree with contacting the Attorney General. Good luck.

  8. just got back..

tried to do the price match on the TRU ad for the leapfrog Alphabet Pal for $10.49 (2 day ad) and was going to use the $10 TQ to make it $0.49!

but they wouldn't price match doorbusters as apparently is stated on their price match guarantee (the FAQ section)

:gdparanoid: I had a similar issue...I was at my local Target today (Watertown, NY) and they REFUSED to price match the Leapfrog Zippity, Tag Jr books (and anything else) with the TRU toy book! They said they don't price match with TRU because the store is outside of their "local market". The closest TRU store is in Clay, NY - about 40 miles away. The TRU toy book was in our local paper with their ad and was mailed to many of my friends in the area. I was livid!

Has anyone ever heard of this? I asked to speak with the manager at customer service and she was the manager. I asked how they defined "local market" and to see the policy in writing but - they could not produce one. I know the Watertown and Clay stores are in the same corporate regional market and overseen by the same district manager. Why is it different on the customer service side? Any ideas if I should pursue this issue with this store?

    Thanks for listening!!!!!

  9. I don't know why but Leapfrog has all these new coupon LINKS for lots of products (http://www.leapfrog.com/en/landingpages/coupons.html) but the coupons come up as old coupons (expired 9/30/09)

It's new because I don't think we've ever seen a $10 advertised coupon for the TAG Jr. and the layout of all the coupons is completely new!

If they get this up and running soon, you can expect some great deals on My Pal Scout (will be $6@Target w/MQ & TQ) and Clickstart will be $19.99 on BF (with a $10 MQ hopefully) making it $9.99.

I have used these expired Leapfrog MQ for a Tag, 2 Tag Jr, and the books at Target and TRU without any trouble (not all in the same purchase). Just got back from TRU (where I used these expired MQ) and they had to scan one of the UPS codes on the coupon to get it to go through (I think it was the left one). I have gotten some great deals using these MQ and the TQ. Give it a try and good luck.

  10. I've had a Roomba for many years and love, love,LOVE it. It is so convienent and if there is ever a problem with the machine Roomba's customer service is fantastic. I saw one advertised in a recently posted Black Friday ad for $99. It may have been Kohl's, but I'd have to look it up. Hope this help!
  11. I found 2 $10 coupons online and purchased the Zippity at Target for a final price of $59.99 today(used one Target coupon and one Leapfrog coupon). I was allowed to use both coupons at the same time without any problem to get $20 off the reg price.

Unfortunately, I tried to post the coupon links here but I'm not allowed to include links in my posts because I am too new to the website. (a security measure to prevent spam). So....I'll try to explain how to get the coupons without the links.

Target coupon... Go to www,Target, com then click on "Toys" on the left side, inside the red "Big Holiday Toy Sale" box click on "Get Coupons".

Leapfrog coupon....Go to www, dealnews, com - search "zippity" and then check "expired deals" on the left. GOOD LUCK!

  12. New here, but have been lurking for a few days. LOVE all the great info I've found. I'm going to pick up the Tag Jr using my TQ and MQ today before work. Great deal!

I've read in other posts that Target will except expired coupons so I thought I'd share one. I haven't tried it myself but am hopefull. MQ for $10 off Leapfrog Zippity at dealnews, com - search "zippity" and check "expired deals" on the left. GOOD LUCK!

    Zippity Target price = $ 79.99

    - $10 TQ (toybook or online)

    - $10 MQ (website above)

    - $5 TQ ($5 off $50 coupon on back of toy book)

    =$54.99
