  1. Does anyone know if the wireless carriers offer any Black Friday incentives to switch to them?

Also do the carriers themselves (in-store or online) offer deals or is it a better bet to go through a 3rd party retailer like Best Buy or Radio Shack?

Will anyone buy your old phone or help you pay the ETF?

Background: I am currently on Sprint and I have a droid that I'm not thrilled with. And I am locked in to a contract and cannot upgrade to the iPhone.

I am willing to leave Sprint and pay the ETF if any other carrier, esp. Verizon is offering deals.

    Any advice?!

  2. Thought I'd share because I have been pricing this model for a few weeks now looking for a good deal..... The lowest I have seen anywhere is $109 on sale and that includes online at www.target.com if you were to check today.

So not sure if the in-store Temp Price Cut is store dependent but it was not advertised and I just happened to stumble upon it today while shopping for other items.

I am one happy shopper today! :cheesy:

  3. Yes, you can use it on the 32g, which also has a free $30 gift card with it this week.

It works out to roughly $220 (from $295) for the 32g 4th gen ipod touch ($295 - 10% - $45 in Target GCs = $220.50). If you have a Target credit or debit card, you get another 5% off, making it $209.48.

I got one tonite. Would LOVE to get another one if anyone has a 10% off ipod coupon from that mailer that they aren't using!

    Great deal, IMO!

Thank you for this info lakerb - We always get this Target coupon book in December and it is addressed to the previous home owner so we are not sure as to how to get on this list. We used it last year to buy our 160 GB iPod Classic. This year, I had actually bought the 8GB ipod at Walmart on Black Friday ($225 w/ $50 GC) but was unhappy with the limited amount of songs it held. After reading this post, I quickly researched Walmart's return policy and took the iPod back after only owning it 5 or so days. To my surprise, they gave me back the FULL $225 (I was only expecting $175). Then I bought the 32 GB at Target with 10% off coupon and $15 GC + $30 GC from this week's sales ad. Basically, I didn't have to pay much more for 4X the storage space! I feel like I cheated a little bit, but hope this post also helps others out there. Frankly, the 8 GB iPod Touch doesn't hold that much music if you also want to fill it with apps, photos, videos etc.

  4. WOW, 1st call to the Radio Shack at my mall and they have a pink one on sale for $97!!!! Thanks OP!

I used the Entertainment Book $15 coupon and my pink DS Lite came out to be $82.xx!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Plus I was able to get a pink protective case and a nylon carrier with 3 stylus for about $4-5 each!!!!! Amazing deal!!!! THANKS AGAIN OP!!!!
  5. None of the hot toys the kids want. I know a lot of people who did not buy the monster high and squinkies because they thought they'd have an awesome sale (bundle packs or exclusives) on BF. Now they are sold out and there won't be any deal on BF.

My area Targets recently installed new Monster High Displays with TV monitor showing episode clips. Of course the shelves are bare but I hope this means they are expecting stock soon????

  6. So I asked my store to clarify - it seems all the clearance items from the catalog/web were already placed in bins at my store. The posters read "Semi-annual sale" althought they said the sale didn't technically start until January 2nd when they would then include the rest of the sale items. I didn't know there was a difference between clearance and sale. She also said that all the Miracle bras were out so if they ran out before January 2nd that would be the end of that style availability's. Hope this helps some of you out there. Like I said, I happened to be at the mall, otherwise I would've waited till the 2nd.....
