I doubt they will be on sale cuz they just came out but you never know. I think Best Buy is the only B&M store that sells them now but if they did have them on sale I would have no problem buying them there.

You know what, DH has never had a say or wanted one. For some reason this year he decides to give his two cents. I think I'm just gonna get whatever I want just like the last 11 years. Lol. I'm glad neither of my kids are into name brand cloths. DD7 just wants them to be cute and DS12 only cares if they fit. Lol

If I were getting one for myself I would defiantly get the Fire HD. I'll still probably get the regular Fire for the kids, unless there is some kind of BF sale or gift card with purchase or something.

Lol. I always get DH socks and underwear. I've never got my kids clothes from Xmas though. I think they would defiantly look at me funny. Lol. I guess I should have got them clothes from the beginning but I think it's too late to start now.

Ya he's obsessed with Minecraft. Lol. I do plan on getting him an Xbox live card but again DH considers that video games. Lol

He has no suggestions he just said he's not getting all video games. I even asked him if headphones or rechargeable controllers were considered video games and he rolled his eyes at me. Lol. He plays baseball but that's it. He can't even ride a bike, got that from me lol, and he has a Razor. Maybe on the weight set though. He could use more upper body strength for baseball.

iTunes is good. Both kids have iPods so I'll probably get cards for their stockings. I'll have to see if it will fit when we move him to his new room. Thanks. Ya I just got the PowerUp thing at GameStop. Lol

Yes my 7yo DD is Soo much easier. I get why DH doesn't want him to get just video games cuz he plays them too much as it is but if that's what he really wants I don't know if I can deny him. Ya know? Lol

I'm at a loss on what to get DS this year. He wants all video games and DH said he's not getting all video games. I won't get him Legos cuz he has like 4 upstairs that he just opened to take the guys out. Lol. And he doesn't want toys. Ugh. I plan on getting him a Kindle Fire for his big (Santa) present but have no idea what to get him besides video games.

I always thought that if you have an item you bought online, or in a store, and it was shipped to an address that has sales tax they had to charge it? I live in NH so we don't have a sales tax. I can however buy an item in a MA store and have it shipped to NH and don't pay the tax. It's the same if someone buys an item in NH but has it shipped to MA they do have to pay the tax. I'm so glad we don't have a sales tax. No income tax either but DH works in MA so we have to pay it.

I think the only difference between the Fire and the Fire HD is the screen is actually High Def. the bigger ones are obviously bigger. If they don't have Wifi then they can still play games, watch movies and read books that have already been downloaded. They won't be able to surf the web, check Facebook or download new apps.

Wifi is free when you find a hotspot, ie home router or hotspot like Starbucks. With 3G you need to have a service plan from your cell company, ie Verizon, and it works anywhere you have cell service.

Well that's good cuz I'm getting both my kids them. I just wish they still sold them at Target so I could get 5% off or Walmart so I could get 10% off. Lol

I just Googled "Minecraft app for Fire" and I got a couple articles from Sept that said "Minecraft pocket edition now available for the Kindle Fire". I can check the Amazon App Store on my husbands phone when he gets home. I asked my son and he said he can play with online people people on the Pocket Edition too.

Right. It has an upgrades processor so it's new. I have the same os on my iPhone 4S as the iPhone 5 but the 5 is the new one.
