  1. 70% at Target today. But when did they go from 75% to 70%? Nothing was good like previous years. Not one string of lights, no outdoor decorations, not even any home decorations.... just tons of wrapping paper, bows, paper plates, and the ugliest ornaments. Oh well.

I guess it's the sign of the times. They don't carry the nice stuff they used to, or they bring in just very limited quantities. In years past, I got Christmas dish sets, complete bedding sets, outdoor lit up trees and reindeer for my yard, stringed lights, beautiful tree skirts, fancy chair covers, table cloths, napkin rings.... real nice stuff. Did they stop carrying this stuff or is it just my store? What a bummer it has become.

  2. Thank you...definitely the info I needed. I love Costco, so I'm glad I can go buy it there. :)

I am glad that everyone still loves their Keurigs so much, I'm excited to get one too!

I'm glad you decided to get the Platinum from Costco. It really is the best deal out there with all the extras you get with it. Plus, if you have any problems with it at all, Costco is so good about returns. :yup:

  3. OMG we LOVE ours! We just got one for Christmas and I must say it is one of the best gifts ever! If you have a Costco, I highly recommend getting it there. It's $139 for the Platinum series but the great part is that it comes with the reusable filter and 60 K-Cups. The reusable filters sale from $17-20 by themselves and 60 K Cups could easily run you $30, so it really is a good deal. :cheesy:

My favorite K-Cups are by Wolfgang Puck so far. The Hawaiian Hazelnut is TDF! :yup:

  4. It's not as much fun as your kids grow up... mine are kind of starting to outgrow toys. :(

I did score the Twilight Saga 3 board game gift set for $6.48 and a B.F.C. doll for $7.48. My 9 yr old will like those. And I got my son a couple Bakugan toys. That's about it. There were tons of LPS and Polly Pocket stuff.... a couple years ago I would have gone crazy. But DD doesn't really play with those anymore.

  5. Yup, that's what I did. Signed up for their email alerts after i got my Keurig at Christmas, then took the 20% off printed coupon into the store for the 60 pack.

The only thing I regret is I don't like very many of the coffees included in that particular pack.

Ive found some kcups as low as $13 for 48 pack on Amazon, but you have to watch them daily. It wasnt a special deal or anything, it just happened to be listed cheap that day, it sold out, now its back up to regular price.

Thanks for the Amazon tip! I'll have to keep an eye on that. I was shocked at how high their prices are. Hoping to score some deals soon because I refuse to spend over .50cents per cup!

  6. From Bed Bath & Beyond, this is a great price when you use a 20% off coupon. 60 K-Cups variety pack, $23.99 after coupon. That's only .40 cents per cup. I've been shopping around since I got my Keurig for Christmas, and this is the cheapest I've seen! Great variety too. I got an instant 20% off coupon for signing up for emails. I bought mine in store, but looks like the same price is online and has free shipping! :cheesy:

  7. Make sure you scan! Signs still said 50% off but scanned at 75% this am. :) I didn't find much I wanted...the ornaments where really ugly this year and my store didn't have much home decor this year either. I did score a bunch of Soft Soap body wash for .74 each! Loaded up on white tissue paper too. They had lots of lights, but I didn't need any. There were NO light up lawn decorations either. That was disappointing. :(

Was bummed that the 3 packs of mighty beanz in the stocking stuffer section still rang at full price.

  8. Got my kites today. Ordered 3 all shipped in different boxes. The kites packages are 4 feet long and 1/2 inch thick. They came in 5 foot X 3 foot boxes and they wonder why shipping on other stuff is so high. I think the paper they put in to take up room weighted more than the kite.

We ordered a Wii Mario game, and it came yesterday in a box about 5 feet long and a few inches thick. When the delivery came, I thought I was going crazy and must have forgotten something I ordered because of the shape/size of the box. I pulled out tons of paper, and there in the bottom corner was my tiny little game. Don't know what they were thinking when they packaged it lol.

Down to $7.99, thanks for posting! Grabbed one for my son. And to think, I almost paid $25 for this at Target the other day!

  10. FYI, if you are looking to buy that Barbie Video Girl it's on sale this week at Target for $34.99 (from $49.99) AND there is a $5 off coupon in their Holiday Toy Book. So, I got it for $29.99! It's one of the only toys my 9 yr old has been asking for. I hope it's not a piece of junk... has decent reviews so we shall see! :yup:

  11. I disagree. Get a tv that looks good and has the features you like in an off brand at bestbuy then get an inexpensive service plan. I have a Samsung in my living room, but got 32" dynex sets for the bedrooms. saved a bundle, love the sets.

We got smaller Dynex sets for our kids rooms and we love them! They have excellent reviews. Only brand I would definitely stay away from are Vizios. My sister's died after 4 yrs. They are notorious for having the picture go completely black after the warranty is up, a known problem to the company yet they won't do anything to fix it.
