    BF Laptop keeps going in and out of stock?

    I am watching an item to see if the pricing changes before tonight, so I keep refreshing.  I really need to get this laptop for my hubby.

     

    Monday it said out of stock, but I'm not an Elite member anyway.  Yesterday it said in stock but regular price. This morning it was still regular price and still in stock.  Now it is saying out of stock.  The pricing for me has never changed, but I'm not sure what is going on.  Does all this really mean it is now out of stock?  Is it just a ploy of BB where they release a few at a time?  I don't want to stay up until 1 or 2am if I have no hope of getting it.  I have not been in a position before where it is something I really needed to get.  I somehow can't believe that people would be buying it knowing it will be much cheaper later on (unless money is no object),  but maybe it is on sale for the Elite but not for the rest of us?

     

    I'm frustrated.

    If the item is going to be on sale online the add to cart button changes to a gray coming soon button before the sale starts. Which laptop are you looking to order?

    Got to Bestbuy this morning 3 hours early and then line was 50+ long! The first 5 were tents so no telling how many in there. I give up...... :(

    So sorry you didn't get it! Our Bestbuy wasn't too bad. Got there at 5 am and I was number 20. They only had 24 though. They waited until 7:45 to give out tickets so there was a lot of unhappy people. One of the women in line had a relative call her and they said the BB they were at had 50 of them.

    Oh yes they will be everywhere. My Gamestop and Walmart have not received any more since the first day and they only had 5 and 10 respectively.

     

    I call every day.

    Ours had received 12 on release night but miracously after one of the workers ask what we were waiting for 2 disappeared. I don't trust the employees. A friend of mine bought one online and picked up in store on Monday morning. Keep an eye out. I bet yours will get them in between now and Christmas. You can check store stock on the website.

    Urban Outfitters online was a joke yesterday. My Gamestop has been saying they do not have any at all and don't think they will get any.

    Oh I know. I've been trying to get one for my cousin for a while now. The sites just crash as soon as they go live. Went and got DH's on release night. He's barely touched it after I stood in line for 4 hours. Walmart and target in my area do get them in and stock them in small quantities but I've not managed to get my hands on another one yet. Betcha after Christmas they will be everywhere on clearance.

    Sad thing was most people was there to scalp the NES.... There was a huge blow up when one lady found out a few ahead of me was there only to sale it. "It was cold and raining in the early hours of the morning for almost 6 hours and you are going to sale it when my child wants only that for Christmas". She went off. She was a little woman but you could tell if they went back and forth she was going to lay into them.

     

    There's a woman who bought some up to sell at the closest store to us in Johnson city, TN. She posted them on a local yardsale site for $250. There's over 200 comments and most are not so pretty.

    Bestbuy (online): Asus laptop, 5 pair Bose in ear headphones, 1 pair over the ear Bose, dvds, 3 mophie powerstation pro, hp printer, and 5 Dynex power banks.

     

    Kohls online: Angel tree little girl got an outfit, coat, pair of boots, Disney princess my first bedtime baby Cinderella doll, and a couple pairs of Lee jeggings for myself.

     

    Cabela's (online): 4 pair of Merrell chameleon swift shoes.

     

    Toysrus (online): Disney Aurora princess babydoll, 100 piece megablocks, skylanders crystals.

     

    Belk (online): 2 pairs of boots (thought I had enough boots but I was wrong, ha) and the Westinghouse microwave.

     

    At Walmart I just bought some dvds and the 55" teddy bear. My local Walmart was no where near as bad as years past. I thought it was because we just had another one open about a week ago and walmart stores are pretty close here now. Most of my shopping was done online. Btw.....

    Looks like that was it. I just checked again and the same amount of blu-rays as 7 hours ago. I'm sure nothing else has changed.

    That DVD selection was definitely pathetic. I'm not surprised though. They hold something back every year that's on my list.....and it's usually a cheap DVD. Gotta keep us coming back on Wednesday/Thursday night.

    I really hope that isn't it. That they are staggering items out like they have in the past. If so I'm pretty disappointed. Only 49 blu-ray on sale. Many other items not available.

    I was able to get most of what I needed except the Samsung prepaid for my cousin and captain America DVD. There were definitely some things missing. I hope that's not a sign those items won't be online.

    how do you know which of these items will be available online? I need a new printer, but not enough to go to the store. ;)

     

    Which printer do you need? I'll check to see if it's available on the sale price while ordering my items Monday.
