I got hooded sweatshirts with various logos, size 6/7 but they had a large selection of sizes and colors up to size 16/18. $3.24 each. Also cute thermal long-sleeve tops, various colors for $2.34 each. Also lots of racks of 30 and 50%. I dont have girls but I noticed lots of girls underwear and accessories marked down to 50% and more. Our toys went 75% last week, they are gone now. Noticed the clearance shelves in bedding are packed, hoping they go below 30% soon. And I cant be the only one who completely ignores the 15% off clearance racks. What kind of clearance is 15%? Unless I have coupons I dont bother.

Fair warning - we got these for our 4 yr old sons, and we love them. BUT, the noses of the puppies wear off immediately. Literally within hours of them putting them on the first time and just normal play. They are very warm and watertight though - I know this because we just spent an hour waiting in line in freezing rain to get into a White House tour. My kids feet were warm and dry.

I havent heard back from vera bradley yet but I forgot to mention that the last thing I did before I noticed the prices change was to attempt to apply the valid coupon code "10offsale" I wondered if that changed the prices. So after I wrote the previous post, and fumed about it for a few minutes, I cleaned my cache and deleted all cookies. Then closed my browser, reopened and started a new session. I finally did get them at $25 and was able to apply the coupon code. But after I finished my order I went back in to the site to browse for matching items for the 2 bags I ordered (Christmas gifts) and when I searched on the patterns, the Betsy bags were again showing as $30 for one, and $63 for the other. All in all, a rather odd experience with this site. Even as their own banner ads kept flashing the $25 today only special the prices kept changing.

I just tried to order and this is what happened. I am furious and feel that I have been duped. I selected two different betsy bags at the $25 price. One in Puccini, the other in Frankly Scarlet. The price was $50 with $8 shipping. I continued shopping, then went to my car to get my wallet and credit cards. When I returned, not 15 minutes since I had finalized my cart, the prices had been jacked up to over $80 for the SAME bags!!. What kind of bait and switch is this?? I can see if I had left the items in my cart for several days. But 15 minutes?? This is ridiculous. I am complaining to the company.

I posted yesterday about the great deal I got on 3 packs of Ziploc bags (clearance plus MFC). Opened them last night and found that they had add'l coupons in each box. Took them back to Target today and the same store, same end cap, same boxes, had all of the clearance stickers removed. I did get Men's Degree Clinical Strength (with add'l travel size atatached) on clearance for $3.92 and used MFC for $2 off Listerine Mint huge bottle, with smaller free bottle attached on clearance for $2.48 and used MFC for $3 off when I also purchased 2 Reach Floss for $1 each with it BTS still languising at 30% except for backpacks which went to 50%. Fans finally starting to get marked down but only 15-30%. Holding out for 50% here in Delaware.

Most of the end caps have had the same stuff for over a week with nothing moving and nothing getting marked down any more. Actually noticed that they have so much college dorm stuff on clearance (at 15% and not moving) that they relocated it to an aisel in the back of the store where it still sits. What I did get - Ziploc bags bundled for BTS (two boxes of sandwich bags and one box of snack bags) marked down from $4.99 to $4.24, and I used two manufacturers coupons (one for 40 cents off one box, one for $1.25 off of two boxes) and cashier had no problem with it. Also got two packs of 16 pods Senseo Sumatra coffee. Regularly $4.99, clearance for $2.44. All BTS STILL just 30%, even with them stocking all the Halloween in the same general area yesterday and today. Same for patio and AC/Fans. WHAT are they waiting for???

I swear this time last year there were 3 aisles of Back to School at 50-75% off and an aisle of fans at 50% (I checked my old bank statements to verify dates). This year fans are still full price with just some AC window units at 30%. BTS is still full price except for one small section they were marking today at 30%, and they have less than half the stock they did last year. Patio and grills still just 30% and again far less stock than last year. And nothing at all on clearance in toys now except for pools and swim toys at 30%. Clearly my Target has gotten much more strategic in how much they stock and how quickly they mark down. Good for Target, bad for me...

All my boys want this year for Christmas is Transformers stuff. I checked them out on Amazon and they are pricey. Today I found the 6 inch diecast ones for 75% off at Target!! Regular price $20.96, I paid $4.54 each. Woo Hoo!! Also all summer toys were at least 50% and they were marking patio stuff down. Fans are still just 30% and they have only about 20% of the fans they had last year at this exact time ( I checked my bank statement to see when I hit the school supply sale) School supplies STILL not marked down.
