Perimeter Perusing at Target (Target Clearance Deals) - 2009

I find that on this site the ASIN numbers work often when DPCI doesn't work. Just go to Target website and get ASIN and then use that in the box instead of DPCI. -

Thanks so much for the coupon, but I guess you can only print two per computer, and I printed both of them in the beginning of summer. As I purchased the game today, I mentioned to the cashier that I had some coupons that expire on 9/30 for $5.00 and I wish I could have used them. The cashier said that Target does accept expired coupons if they "beep" through. I had a coupon in my purse [ I know I should clean my purse out more often. ]. Anyway, it beeped and I got $5.00 off. Yeah! And then, I got .05 back for bringing my own reusable bag. Double Yeah! -

Does anyone have a link to a coupon for Leapster games? The ones previously posted expire 9/30? I have a raincheck for a game at Target for 19.99 that expires soon. I'd love an extra couple of bucks off. Thanks so much. -

I am in the same boat as you. I don't even know what Pokemon is really. My ds4's friend told him that you can get them at McDonalds in the Happy Meals and my son has been begging me to take him. Although I don't like McDonalds, I will take him so I can see if they are age appropriate, and if he will play with them or grow bored with them. Hope this helps. -

You are probably right. Its just that many people on this forum have had their Target management told them that these are not for sale and shouldn't be on the floor. Other people have had them taken away at the register. And other people have said that they make sure they have lots of items in their cart, so the cashier doesn't notice the juice price and alert management. As for bait and switch laws, I don't think it applies to pricing errors, which is what I think this was. A friend of mine bought a brand new electronics item at 9.99 when Best Buy made a pricing error on the website. It was supposed to be 999.99. He was on the local news and everything. Best Buy canceled the order and offered an apology. No law was broken, apparently. I only found the MM juice once, but boy was that a happy day!:):):):):):) -

Geesh, our target is soooooo sneaky. I must have scanned some 15 funtainers this morning when I found one for 3.98 - but it was a girl one and I have a boy. I too noticed that hangy thing. And when I pulled out all the remaining one with hangy things on them, their barcodes were all ripped off the bottom AND from the Thermos tag attached to them. Since the barcode part of the Thermos tag was ripped off, they were placed inside the Funtainers. When I tried to convince Guest Services, he said no and that the hangy things didn't mean anything. Oh well. -

Folks, I enjoy a healthy debate and by no means am I trying to attack anyone at all. My first instinct would be that the ethical thing to do would be to only use the coupon for the product which it was intended. But upon further thought, I was just wondering if the people who thought that using the $10 coupon on the book also did NOT buy any MM. After all, we all know that they were not intended to sell for .69 for the whole pack, it just happened to scan that way due to a mistake on Target's part. Wasn't buying these fraud too? Wasn't the ethical thing to do is to report this to the manager or pay .69 for each juice. Didn't we all just take advantage of this Target scanning mistake? When Target figured out they were losing money, they fixed the problem. Is this really any different? When Target figures out what is wrong, they will fix the problem. I guess what I am wondering is that if the something scans, then how much responsibility is on the consumer to make ethical choices during these deals? If the system is programmed a certain way, then is it cheating the system or jumping through a loophole? -

I don't know if this was mentioned before, but here is a whole bunch of target coupons. One of the coupons is for $5 any cranium game. http://www.afullcup.com/target-coupon-generator/2/pp/25 Our target has Three Cranium games for 9.99, making them 4.99 each after coupon. But some targets have them for 7.99 making them 2.99 after coupon. The games are for preschoolers and are Cranium Puppy Pals Bingo, Polar Bear A-B-C, Duck Duck 1-2-3. We bought them yesterday and played them, and they are very nice, high quality. Hope this helps someone! -

One of the Targets here marks electronics on Thursdays, and other one marks them down on Tuesday. I got there today while the pricing team was there and asked the person to scan the video and kids cameras and they stayed the same at 50%. I'll call Thursday afternoon to see if the one at the other store has been marked down and post here. -

I don't know about the Coby mp3 players, but in general, my experience with Coby products has not been good. I stopped buying this brand years ago, but things may have improved since then. I'm not sure which one Big Lots has, but Coby has 2 touch screen mp3 players - one has a bigger screen and plays back video, while the other has a slightly smaller screen and doesn't support as many video playback formats - although it may play some videos. That being said, Amazon has the bigger screen one for $41 and the smaller screen one for $32 dollars. Shipping is free. No taxes. The reviews are average - at around 3.5 out of 5 stars. big screen: http://www.amazon.com/Coby-Flash-Video-Player-Radio/dp/B00176SYZE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1252563891&sr=1-1 small screen http://www.amazon.com/Coby-Flash-Player-Color-Display/dp/B001HN6CGU/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1252563891&sr=1-3 I love Amazon! My Target Adventure: I took my little boy to Target with me, which I rarely do since he gets into everything. While I was searching for the cheapest batteries, there was a triangular horizontal column on the floor of the display aisle shelf, probably for wires. I wasn't kidding when I said my son gets into everything. Well, he had peeked underneath it, and lo and behold, there were various items stored there. There was no way these items could have gotten there accidentally. I thought about leaving them there, since someone had gone through obvious effort to store them there, but curiosity got the better of me and I fished out one of the items. It was an Energizer rechargable battery station that came with 4 AA and 2 AAA. The clearance sticker said original price was 16.99 and sale price was 11.89. When I scanned it, the price came up as 4.24. So then, I laid down flat on the floor, like an idiot, using my cell phone was flashlight. I would have been humiliated if someone came into the aisle, but no one did. I could see a video game, a memory card, and a pack of razors. I'm pretty sure all had clearance stickers. Since I was looking for AA batteries, I bought these, but wasn't sure if I should have informed someone about the rest of the stash. -

Gritz, I am so happy to see someone else from the Bay Area. Which Targets do you shop at? I shop at at San Jose-Coleman or Milpitas. I miss the Sunnyvale one. Blossom Valley tends to mark things down faster, I've heard from friends. I recently met a friend for lunch at Gilroy and LOVE their target. They hads tons of Leapsters at 75% off when all of my local targets had it at 30 or 50 percent off. Plus, I found MM there and tons of other great stuff that one time I went. Too bad its sooooo far. -

I went to a Target 30 minutes away from home in Gilroy since I was in that area, and lo and behold they had 3 MM. I was so happy, it was the first time I had seen them. I couldn't have been more elated or excited had I discovered a leprechaun! My local target never has these. After years, I finally found one! YEAH. This target also had 13 Leapsters for 19.98, although they were still labeled at 39.99. I bought five of them. I have been stalking this for over a month and so frustrated that the price never dropped in my local target. Plus, I got a whole bunch of great deals. 12 pack of AAA Rayovacs - 1.62. Value pack of GE 60W soft bulbs - 8 bulbs for .88. 4 bars of method bar soaps - 3.74. (regularly 7.99) All in all - a great trip. Of course, now that I finally got the Leapster, the price at the local target dropped to 19.98 on Thursday. Go figure!
