  1. This is probably a stupid question, but just adding the item to your cart claims it for you, right? Do I have to quickly go through the entire buy process, or just quickly add it to my cart and make sure I finish my purchase before the 15 minutes is up? I'd hate to think I had claimed a deal only to have it tell me "Sorry, this item just sold out" by the time I get through the checkout process.

  2. Ok, this isn't exactly about price matching, but I hope it's ok to ask in this thread instead of making another thread that's so similar. I don't think they price match other retailers, but does Amazon price adjust their own products? If I were to purchase the PS3 GTAV bundle now for $270 and the price was to drop before Christmas, does Amazon offer a price adjustment for that? I've heard they have a "secret" 30 day price guarantee, but I'm not sure if that's true.

  3. Hope this is in the right place. Gamestop has a PS3 250GB Bundle with Lego Harry Potter Yrs 5-7, Lego Batman 2 DC Superheroes, and Little Big Planet: Karting for $250. Is that a good deal on that particular bundle, or does anyone think I  might be able to find it cheaper on Black Friday or closer to Christmas? I'm always afraid I won't be able to find something if I try waiting for a better price.

  4. How do you like your Fire?

I love it so far! I've watched movies and tv shows (the picture quality is great), played games, browsed the web, listened to music (I think the sound quality is really good), oh...and read books haha. Right now the only downside for me is the carousel. It stores everything you do on it, and when it's full of websites and apps and things, it's just not very pretty. Hopefully, Amazon will come up with a fix soon.

Forgot to add: If anyone is thinking about getting a Fire for a tween, my 12 y.o. niece really wants one for Christmas. A couple of her friends have gotten them already, and she's played around with them at school (they're allowed to bring e-readers to school), and she and her friends have all loved it so far.

  5. If you check the box that says it is a gift at checkout, it will come in a regular amazon box, with the Kindle Fire box inside it. I ordered one for myself and it came in the box that said Kindle Fire, but my mother ordered one as a gift for my niece and checked that box when she purchased it, and it came in a plain box.

A friend of mine just got a Kindle Fire from Amazon. It arrived in a box that had KINDLE FIRE printed all over the outside of the box. So if you're getting one as a gift for someone in your house, try to be home when it arrives so the box doesn't ruin the surprise.

  6. I was just looking for deals on desktops online at Dell, and I saw a Studio Slim desktop with an instant savings of $624 to make it cost a mere $110. Why is it so cheap? It's a really good desktop that's Quad Core and everything, so why is the price so low? I would jump on a deal like that, but it sounds too good to be true, which makes me nervous.
