They had a thomas playset only marked 50 % off when I went to scan, it scanned full price , the girl at the register said it was marked down by mistake so I couldnt get it, so that was a bit of a let down but I was too excited about the train to be too upset =)
If it was marked 50% they should have given it to you at that price. Doesn't matter that it was a mistake on their part. If it happens again have a manager called over because they have to give you the price on the box.

I really don't know that the Legos will hit 75%. I read a post on some website several years ago that if an item at Target starts at 15% off, it's discount will go 15%-30%-50%. It will never even hit 75%- those that go all the way to 75% are on the 30%-50%-75% schedule. I'm pretty sure most of the Legos I saw did start at 15% but I could be mistaken.

Any thoughts on when they might salvage?? I want to try and make one more trip back before they do.
I couldn't believe we went this morning and there was still xmas stuff in the xmas aisle. This store went 90 Tuesday. I would bet all will be gone from the stores tomorrow morning if it's not gone already.

Rockaway, NJ finally went 90% yesterday. Was just there this morning and they still have plenty of single rolls of purple Scotch tape for 20 cents in the reg tape aisle. They also have plenty of 3 packs of Mighty Beanz in the toy aisle for 30 cents each. They must have found some of the red and gold 4 packs of chargers in the back b/c there were about 30-40 packages of these in the xmas aisle today around noon. 49 cents per box of 4 chargers and these make great platters for cookies when going to a party. Still have lots of packages of bows and the 9 packs of xmas balls in the long tube.

Did you scan anything? Often the stores don't bother to put up the 90% sign.
I'm no rookie.

Rockaway, NJ.............still 75%......................
I am grateful to have a part time job in my field but bummed I have to work tomorrow so won't be able to check until after work. We are supposed to get some snow tomorrow so may not even be able to stop by if it's bad.

Do they have any lights left in Rockaway? I was there on Sat. and they had a decent amount. I'm not going to bother with 90%...if it even happens...if the lights are all gone.
Do any of you Northern, NJ shoppers remember when toys went 75% last year...was it a Wednesday or a Thursday?
Rockaway has a few of the pink Philips LED ones. I did see one package of white round ball-ish ones- not Philips but the other cheaper sets. It was there this morning but doubt it will still be there when it hits 90......whenever that is.
I thought some toys went 75% mid-January but it was mostly crappy toys. I think the better toys went 75% later in January last year and I think it was a Thursday.

Rockaway, NJ still 75%.............I was so excited to be the first one in the store this AM. I keep a xmas UPC with me so went to the nearest scanner as soon as I was in the store and my jaw literally dropped. Could not believe they're still at 75%- they went 75% on Dec 29.
Did stop by Wash. Twnshp, NJ Target on my way home from work yesterday and they had already gone 90%. Picked up some of the 50 packs of xmas balls, cards and a few knick knacks. Stopped by again this morning after Rockaway disappointment. Shocked to find 6 packs of Philips LED warm white xmas lights- 1.19 each. Bought all 6. They still have an decent assortment of xmas cards- religious and non-religious ranging in price from 49 cents- 1.50. Still a good amount of the 50 packs of xmas balls for 1.50 and the tubes of xmas balls (maybe 8 or 9 in there) for 50 cents, some ornaments and candy but not much worthwhile.

I noticed that a lot of people had the holiday Thomas Train priced at originally $6.99??!! It's $9.99 here, urgh -- ridiculous - $3 difference.
There were two different holiday Thomas'. The metal version was 6.99. The wooden version was 9.99.

I picked up one bag, but haven't opened it for my kids yet. I think they look gross. But, for 21 cents... if the kids like 'em then heck ya!!

I got these last week when they went 75% and I think they're good. They taste like chocolate graham crackers. The marshmallows taste like the dried marshmallows in powdered hot cocoa mix.

My Target went 90% Thursday, Dec 30 and is still ringing 75% this morning

I have found that there are two sets of stores- ones that start 75% and 90% one day early and all others. For the past few holiday clearances (Xmas last year, Vday, Easter, Halloween) one of my stores has been on the "early" schedule and the other on the regular schedule. Thanks for the post about 75%- I'll have to hit up my "early" store after work today.

Based on my experience, it stays at 90% 2 days, then gets salvaged. If it went 90% at your store Saturday, it will be salvaged Monday. If it went 90% today, it will be salvaged Tuesday.

My store that went 75% on Thurs went 90% today. Got a pumpkin flag for the flagpole for 99 cents- they have the single big flags and the double packages of small flags. Thanksgiving flags were also 90% off- got a turkey and one with a Thanksgiving scene, both 99 cents. These flags were in the regular flag endcap.

My Target that went 75% Halloween stuff/50% candy on Wednesday went 90% Hween stuff/ 75% candy today. I am guessing the store that didn't go 75% until Thursday will go 90% tomorrow.

Oh, I forgot--- a whole new crop of Up&UP trash bags marked down 50%-- both kitchen and yard kinds. I stocked up last time, but in case someone else missed out it might be worth a look
I got these yesterday, too. They were priced 2.74 and went right from 15% to 50% off. Also found Charmin TP 24 packs for 50% off- 8.98. They say something like 24 triple rolls= 72 reg rolls. Just look for the 24= 72 in the upper left hand corner because the ones they have now only say 24= 48 or something like that. The only reason I found them was b/c they were mixed in with the other TPs. The piles they had on the endcaps were gone.

It just went on clearance right after Easter so it will be a while.

Actually, I have one Target that does go to 90% at the dollar spot. It lasts for one day, then they haul everything that's left away. It's the only one in my loop, but I always make an effort to get there at the right time for 10 cent fun!
Oh, I'm soooo jealous. I would go crazy at 90% dollar spot.....

Dollar spot gets salvaged after 75%, never goes to 90%. Our Target vday finally went 90% this AM. I was lucky to find some women's sleepwear Vday stuff in the sleepwear section. I got 2 pairs of capri sleep pants for 70 cents each- 1 pink with small white hearts and one lavender, pink and peach plaid- and 1 short sleeved shirt for 60 cents. Not much in the way of vday stuff- about 1 endcap full. Picked up a few valentines packs for 27 cents each and some tongue tattoos for my sons bday party goody bags next month.

Where are you located? My DH has been looking for new clubs. I'd take em at 50% off! If anybody sees anymre let me know!
That DPCI is for the Dunlap womens set. There are several mens clearance sets (I saw a really nice mens $300 set clearanced to $75. I know there are some even cheaper for men just don't have the DPCIs. Good luck finding some.

Stopped by my Target today to see if there were any returned toys (none) and happened to walk by the kitchen stuff which had been marked down to 75% and was scattered throughout the kitchen aisles. Pressure cooker was $10 down from $40, lots of Giada studd marked down, 4 packs of wine glasses for $3.50ish, 4 packs juice glasses for $2.50ish, silverware service for 4 were $10ish and other goodies. I bought the following which were all 75% off:
