  1. You don't need twitter necessarily, just go to this page.

    http://twitter.com/EAFlashDeals

You will need to refresh it periodically since you don't have an account. You could get an account and it will update you as soon as they post it. You can even sign it up to alert your mobile phone when they post. I hope this helps.

Ok, atleast now I know why I didn't get one. Found this message on the twitter site:

The first 500 copies of Madden NFL 11 have been sold! Thx for your interest & support. More #EAFlashDeals soon - stay tuned!

I guess this deal is DEAD

  2. I have used these over a half dozen times with no issues whatsoever. I don't think you can use more than one at a time but most restaurants have different dollar value certificates ($10/$25/$50/$100) with different minimum purchases. For example, I usually buy the $25 certificate which has a $35 minimum purchase. All certificates also have a mandatory tip of 18% of the full value of the meal BEFORE the certificate is subtracted.

The minimum cash outlay for a meal with a $25 certificate is just over $20.

    • $2 for certificate (assuming you buy at 80% off)
    • $35 of food
    • $6.30 mandatory tip
    • $2+ tax
    • ($25) credit for certificate

I usually end up paying about $30 for a meal for 2 at a nice sitdown restaurant (roughly $40 bill plus tax/tip/cert) which beats spending over $50 for that same meal. At pizza places we have fed 4 adults w/ leftovers for under $25.

Thanks for the info. Just wasn't sure if you actually are getting a good deal or not! I'm gonna try out the House of Blues one. :D
  3. Companies use different wording but I think the "upgrade" and "renewal" are the same, which means that when you your contract is up then you can get another phone so they can keep your business. Verizon will allow you to renew 3 months before your contract is up. So check with your company and see what their policy is. The Driod is most comparable with the Iphone as far as I know.

What is an upgrade? Is that within Verizon?

We have I wireless now but our contracts are up in January. My husband wants the Droid.

What is the difference from the ERIS and the Regular one?

  4. I was with Verizon and just switched to At&t. We almost got the Chocolate touch for our kids. The reviews are very good if you decide to get one. In the past couple of weeks the Droid Eris was $100 so this is a good deal. Verizon let me out of my contract for many reasons but the biggest was for not getting good signals and not getting my calls. They should work with you on your date to renew. Good luck!
  5. How did you get them to give you a credit? When I called the other day to get credit for a GPS that was on sale, they told me that since it was a "time sensitive" item on lightening deals they were unable to extend a credit to me.

IDK, at first she didn't want to do it. Then I asked her if I could just get a gift card. It wasn't easy but I was prepared to order another T.V. and send the other one back. I just wasn't giving up.:gdthums:

  6. Guys, I just got this T.V. for my DS and we already gave it to him. I paid $299 for it and called Amazon to get my credit. Since it was within 7 days and over $20 she gave me my credit back. Yes! The T.V. is a normal size for a average bed room. I have it in a 10x11 room. My DS loves it casue of the cool Ipod dock that come with it. You plug it inton the back of the T.V. and then you'll be able to operate it from the remote and watch/listen to whatever you have on your Ipod. Also it has ALL of the outlets on it for gaming, CD, 2 HDMI, and PC. We had to adjust the color but after that we are very happy with the purchase so far.
