  1. Thanks Joli!

After I saw your post, I went back to Target for a price adjustment and they gave me $12.99 back on each of them.  Sweet!!!!!

But they wouldn't let me have the free character.  They said only one promotion so I took the cash.

Thanks again!  I started out thinking the Skylanders were going to be one of my most expensive toys to buy and it ended up to be one of the cheapest.

  2. Help me out here please.  I was understanding that iChi is not the same company/quality as Chi.  Will someone confirm they are the same or not.  I was going to buy one for a gift, my daughter lost her CHI that she has had for years.  I'd never go back to another brand as they only lasted 1 year at best.  Thanks.

By the way, just checked that Amazon deal and it's down to $35.

Then, I found this one on Amazon.  Looks like a great deal, but not that familiar with hair products.  http://www.amazon.com/HSI-PROFESSIONAL-TOURMALINE-STRAIGHTENER-Treatment/dp/B001MA0QY2/ref=sr_1_1?s=beauty&ie=UTF8&qid=1385312917&sr=1-1&keywords=chi+tourmaline

Looks like the same one as this: http://shop.hsiprofessional.com/HSI-Professional-TOURMALINE-STRAIGHTENER-dual-voltage/dp/B004VWCEDE

  3. I just went to my Walmart to see if anything was on sell yet.  Yes, it was.

    LeapFrog2s were sold out already.

Other various games were hit and miss, but they were all marked.

I stopped a clerk and said "I know your sale starts tomorrow, but everything is marked already and a lot of it is sold out.  Will you restock."

She said, "I know.  Our stockers come in at 10:00.  We hope there is more, but we don't know."

  4. Oh no!  I just received 2 of the LeapFrog LeapPad2 Learning Tablet - Doc McStuffin’s Bundle (Amazon Exclusive) in my mail today.

I ordered them two days ago.  Now I see on this list that Amazon will have the following sale:

    • 50% off LeapFrog LeapPad2 Learning Tablet - Doc McStuffin’s Bundle (Amazon Exclusive)

What should I do?  Please I need advice.  Do you think they will adjust the price for me?  How would I get ahold of them to even ask.

  5. I went to Target this morning.

They had video games buy 2 get 1 free.

I picked up 3 each of the Skylanders Swap Force Starter Kits, regular price $74.99 for a cost of $224.97.

They rang up buy 2 get 1 free, bringing my cost down to $149.97.

I gave them 3 each $10.00 off coupons I bought on ebay, bringing my cost down to $119.97.

I gave them 3 each $5.00 Target coupons from the Toy Catalog.  They would only use two.  They were limited to one per person and it was just my husband and I, bringing my cost down to $109.97.

I paid with my Target red card and that gave me another 5% off bringing me down to around $105.00 for 3 Swap Force Starter kits.

My grandsons will be very happy.  They were cheaper than Toys r Us Black Friday prices, and I don't have to stand in line or worry about availability.

If you don't have any of the $10.00 off coupons, you can still score a great deal!

  6. Thanks for sharing. We went to Penneys in Boise Idaho and bought $100.00 worth of kids clothes for mostly $1.40 or $2.10 each. Then we went to the Nampa, Idaho store about got another $80.00. Outside of all the childrens clothes that we got for our 16 grandchildren for Christmas, we scored an awesome queen comforter set for $21 and some Nike Air shoes for $24. Most of the items scan far cheaper than they were marked. Thanks again.
  7. I went to Target with my Sears ad in hand. I grabbed the Fisher-Price Magical Fairy Dora, regular price $34.99. I handed the clerk my Sears ad to price match at $29.99. I handed the clerk my $5.00 coupon from Target (you can also print this on the Target website). Then I handed the clerk my $5.00 coupon from Fisher Price. Make sure to give the Target coupon before the Hasbro coupon. That brought my item down to $19.99.
