BF 2002, I arrived at BB at 4 AM and was the first in line. Those were the days.... Now I don't even go to BB on BF.
What I don't miss? All those mail in rebates. I used to take hours tracking all those rebates.

The Temple, Texas Target still has bagged Easter candy at 50% off. People are buying it so I don't know if there will be much left at 75%
I will be checking again tomorrow morning!

The Temple, Texas Target was still 75% off on Christmas items this morning. All the gift sets and good candy was gone. They still have plenty of ornaments, lights and candy canes.

Thanks for the info. I just have to decide which Wal-Mart to go to now. I believe Wal-Mart carries this model year round. How can we find out how many are on hand at each store?

Most reviewers really like this TV. Would I need to get to Wal-Mart early to get it since they have the Emerson 32" Widescreen LCD HDTV for $248? I hope most shoppers will ignore the Sony so I can arrive at the store around 3 or 4 AM and get the Sony.
I plan on keeping my standard def Dish Network equipment for now. I still have a lot of shows to watch off the DVR.... What can I expect when watching standard def on HDTV? Will it look really bad?

I have been every day for over a week doing recon in my store. I don't hide things personally, but I know other people do. So I spent about 3 hours yesterday searching the store aisle by aisle. This morning when things went 90%, I was at the door 10 minutes prior to opening and went straight for the things that I knew where were. I was pulling some things out of an outdoor garbage can and the manager walked up behind me and told me that she was going to have to ask me to leave. WHAT??? She said that they had found several of the things that I had hidden and they had been watching me and my friends (other Gottadealers... hey guys, you know who you are) and they knew what we were up to. She went on to tell me that she doesn't understand why when things are already 75% off that we feel that we need to hide them and get them even cheaper. She said that one of my friends said that she donates her stuff but the manager knows that she doesn't. Actually she does. Long story short... too late... I got my things this morning, but I was told that if I come back in the store, I will be arrested for trespass.
I guess you better find a different Target or wait until the manager quits working at that store.

Temple Texas was still 75% off this morning. Still had lots of the cheap Christmas trees left.

Temple, Texas Target 75% off today. I got lots of candy, two of the car care gift sets, two of the $10 portable FM wireless transmitters, two of the 4 in 1 FM transmitters. The 4 in 1 were a surprise as they were marked $20 but came up on the scanner as $2.50!!! I tried one of the cheaper FM transmitters in the house with my iPhone. It worked great!

I was at the Temple, Texas Target this morning. Still 50% off on Christmas stuff. I asked a worker when would it drop to 75% off. He said when Corporate tells them. Now why would Corporate tell some stores to drop to 75% and not others?

Since the deals aren't so good this year I did all my shopping online and bought more than I had planned on. I only had to pay a small fee for shipping at Walmart.com. Sure beats waiting in line!

Awesome! They have the TDK 50 pack of DVD+R disks at the BF price of $7.99 and free shipping since I ordered more than $25. Now I have no reason to drive into town!!!!

I also miss the days when most people weren't aware of the great deals you could purchase on BF. The days of $99 desktops and only waiting in line for a couple of hours are over.

Did I miss something? I don't think the deals are that great (just like last year). Back in the good old days of 2002, I got to BB 2 hours before they opened and was 2nd in line.... Unless something appears at the last minute I'm going to Radio Shack, buy some blank DVDs and call it a day.

No numbers from any specific store yet, so we'll see. There's a few stores I hope have low sales...
The deals did suck. I spend 90% less this year than last year. If sales were up, all I can say is there is a sucker born every minute!

There weren't any great deals for me so I got to the first store at 07:20.

I missed out on the $228 65' TCL TV on Walmart.com on Monday. Tried again a few hours later and it was available at my local Walmart. Ordered it and got a message stating I can pick it up on Friday. Got an email later stating it is available to pickup at curbside. Got it Wednesday and now enjoying it.
Nothing else has interested me. I have checked the ads but nothing screams buy me!
