  1. :mad:I'm so bummed!!! My Target is usually one of the last on this forum to mark anything down. I went in at noon to just see what all I might want to watch on the toys and most of them were gone! They went 75% this morning. I got 3 things. 2 Cars sets, not the ones I had wanted, and a craft set from the craft section. I can't believe it!!!! They never mark down on Weds for the after Christmas toys. So check your stores!!
  2. I actually bought one of the elephants at 75% off. My DD, who is 3, always asked to go pet them every time we went in Target. It was her favorite toy in the clearance stuff. So I got her one for her birthday and she will be pretty happy. But I still thought it cost too much at 75%. People paid $40 for one?!? Just today I saw several in a few stores I was in. Bet Goodwills around the country will be getting plenty of them. :cheesy:
  3. Can i get the DCPIs of these? Thanks! After several rounds of illness with DD, I realized that 4 sets of crib sheets is not enough. Not without our own washer & dryer.

    The sheets I bought were

    ###030022351 Crib sheet 2.74

    ###030022362 crib sheet 2.74

They had lots of other colors but I'm not sure if this baby will be a boy/girl so I stuck with colors that could be used for both.

    ###030022543 Flannel Blanket 3pk 2.98

These were also green/yellow/brown. They didn't have a sticker but I had seen some at 30% so I scanned them and sure enough they were 75% off!! I just wish our store had car seats marked down. I need a baby one but have only seen one booster seat marked and it was only 15%.

  4. Check the jewelry dept!!! I was cutting through it yesterday afternoon and they had a whole rack of the Christmas earrings and such. Marked 50% but ringing up 75%. There were 3 pairs in most of the sets and they were $1.xx! I stocked up for stockings next year. I don't think anyone had seen them even though the store was packed. It was an end rack near the watches. Bet there are other stores with them!
  5. I'm pregnant and will also be shopping BF this year. I will do what I always do to just not get sick. Take lots of vitamin c. Lots!!! Grapefruit seed extract is amazing and will stop just about anything dead. If your body has what it needs you probably won't get sick. The vax is way too scary. But just take care of yourself and you will be fine. We are pregnant. There is nothing wrong with us. It is normal and we should do what we feel up to doing. BTW, it is much easier to shop pregnant than with kids so enjoy it! So have fun and happy shopping! :gdthums:
  6. This is one of my favorites!! It looks so nice and is much easier to make than you would think. One down side, if you do have leftovers the cookies get soggy after sitting in the fridge. But you can take them off and use fresh ones when reserving.

    Elegant Eggnog Dessert Recipe

1 can (13-1/2 ounces) Pirouette cookies

    1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs

    1/4 cup butter, melted

2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened

    2 cups cold eggnog

    2 cups cold milk

2 packages (3.4 ounces each) instant vanilla pudding mix

    1/2 teaspoon rum extract

    1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg

    1 cup heavy whipping cream

Cut each cookie into 2 2-1/2-in. sections; set aside. Crush remaining 1-inch pieces. In a small bowl, combine the cookie crumbs, cracker crumbs and butter; press onto the bottom of a greased 9-in. springform pan.

In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Beat in the eggnog, milk, pudding mixes, extract and nutmeg until smooth. Whip cream until stiff peaks form. Fold whipped cream into pudding mixture. Spoon over crust. Cover and refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight.

Just before serving, remove sides of pan. Arrange reserved cookies around dessert and press gently into sides. Refrigerate leftovers.

  7. Our store was only letting people buy 10 bags of candy. :gdparanoid: There were no signs but when people went to check out they would say sorry only 10. The cashier I was talking to said they were taking whole carts of stuff back because people were loading up then getting upset and leaving. Um, ya at 30% off who cares how many bags people buy? It isn't that much off so they would still be making money. I thought it was very strange. Target isn't what it used to be.
  8. My DH's birthday is coming up at the end of Nov and I would like to find a good deal on an ipod or mp3 player. I don't know much about either! He runs a lot so not sure if there is a better one for that. And what would he need to be able to run with one? I was thinking maybe BF would have some deals but that is his birthday and I'd hate to not have one at the end of the day. Can anyone give me some pointers or good deal tips on this?

    Thanks!!!

  9. I've noticed a lot of stuff at my Target jumping from 30% or even 15% straight to 75%. Today I picked up a very cute comforter for my DD that I went in hoping to buy at 50%. It had been at 30% for two weeks. I was thrilled to find them at 75%!!! They also had several boys ones for 75% too.

    097-02-0213 Girls Queen Comforter $14.98

Also noticed about half the BTS was marked 30%. Same with the outdoor stuff that didn't go with the big patio sale awhile back. Hoping to get an hose when they mark down more.
