Stayed up to try to get the Best Buy Dynex™ - 24" Class TV, only to have it sell out. First stop for today was the Supermall Walmart, which was a complete disaster. I arrived around 9:30 PM to find that the DVDs had already been picked through. DVD's were scattered all over the place, and on the floor. I guess it started at 8 PM? Not sure what that was all about, either way it was pretty impossible to even move around the place to even get glimpse at some of the titles due to people leaving carts and electric wheelchairs in the middle of the walkways. I ended up buying a few titles. Some I always regret! But that to me is part of Black Friday! My next trip was to Target where I waited an hour in the cold. Of course we were all treated to one of the Occupy Protestors, some guy who earlier had a cart, mentioned that there was a lot of people in line, and returned several minutes later, yelling, he proceeded to stand in the middle of the street blocking traffic. Cops & security of course had to deal with it. Once inside, I proceeded immediately to get the Nikon L105, they basically had all of this particular camera all stacked up behind the electronics desk. Basically, much of what everyone wanted was there, so everyone basically had to get in line there as well to receieve what ever they hoped they could get. I ended up getting a sweater, and pajamas and a toaster for my grandma as well. Only problem I saw with Target was the line, which basically wrapped around the entire store. I ended up stopping at Macys next and bought the Venture Chukka Men's Alfani Boots. Ended up going to another Walmart where I bought Blu Ray Player and much more movies/TV. Eventually made it to Best Buy ( more DVD's & a Dynex 15 inch TV) Office Max, another camera ( Panasonic Lumix DMC-FH25) I think it was possibly the only one the store had! Lucked out! Stopped at Fred Meyer for socks & Eddie Bauer Outlets & Nordstrom Rack as well for a few items as well......

The checkout line was a complete disaster. No order or anything, I stood in line for over an hour. Basically, the line that we were in, only looped into one checkout line. Eventually and finally, one of the workers ended up helping a few of us move into the center check out. A lot of people were buying just unreal amounts of stuff, 1-2 carts full. I guess they were having problems scanning the E-Machines as well. Target: Psych: Season 4 Burn Notice: Season 3 The Matrix: Blu-Ray Hot Tub Time Machine Changeling Not a problem at all, though I think a lot of people ended up being disapointed in not getting that Westinghouse TV, I guess it went real real fast.... Walmart: Basically everything went straight to heck once 5 am rolled around, people were literally falling over each other and pushing, and I'm not even sure over exactly what item. The entire cart of memory/flash cards went straight to the floor, they were basically all spread all over the place. I did manage in all of the choas to pick up the Kodak EasyShare Camera +Charge Kit and the RCA Portable Digital TV. I'm not sure if this was a common occurance or not, but after everything cleared out for a second, you literally had people with like 6 copies of the same item.... I was pretty much shopping for DVDs and that's pretty much it. Only problem I ran into was that the usual Wal-mart I've gone to the past 7 or so years, didn't seem to have what they advertised and such. All I could find were the $2 DVD's, I asked around the answers I kept getting were oh, they are around the store. Nobody could really point to where? Must have walked around the store for 2 hrs and such, looking for the $5 & $9 newer release ones. Pretty much gave up, and grabbed the DVD's from their usual spots. Got Star Trek, Blazing Sadles, Rush Hour, Drag Me to Hell, and State of Play. My next stop was Target, mainly for the Psych: Third Season DVD. Also got Paul Blart & Step Brothers. The line seemed to go forever, all around the store. I ended up going to the other Wal-Mart a few miles away, and they had so much more than the other one. Ended up with Gran Torino, The Wrestler, The Kite Runner, The International Patriot Games, Step Brothers, Spiderman 3, & The Firm. Ended up buying the Regular Editions of The Wizard of Oz & Gone With The Wind at the mall. Also bought two pairs of Dockers from Sears as well.

I wasn't able to find the X-Box 350 Bundle at Walmart, so I just turned my attention to the DVD's and a digital camera. So, I grabbed a bunch from the $2 bin, and so on. I then drove a minute or so to Target and eventually got a portable DVD player, and a bunch more DVD's. (Psych Season 2!)
