Still stalking hatchimals for my friends. I got 1 for son and 1 for niece when they first came out and had 100 on shelf just sitting there and kept thinking that I was probably wrong that they would be "cool".

I've talked to some folks at walmart I know (small town). They were told to hold incoming stock for BF. They have a grand total of 7. It's going to get ugly.

My Princesses are wanting instant cameras (think polaroid for us old folks). I found some thru my airline miles on a line we don't fly often so it didn't cost any cash oop.. Some Lego star wars set that will NEVER go on sale. EVER. Skylanders for BamBam. Again.

I checked the ones on the site and the "before" price matches the wireless ones. The wired beats normally run about a $100 cheaper

Beats wireless headphones. Two pair for the twins. Which means unless they go online, I have to drag my DH along with me to avoid the "one per customer". Oy

You know you are a good parent when your 7 year old child is asking "how many days until Black Friday?"
I am also hoping to catch Skylander's Trap Team on sale on Black Friday... preferably the Dark Edition. We bought Swap Force on the release date and I was kicking myself on Black Friday when it was 1/2 off.
I have been buying the store exclusive characters to make sure I get them, but have yet to buy the game.
Buy the way... if you really hate someone buy their young kid a Skylander starter pack. The older ones are not that much and it will end up costing their parents hundreds to thousands of dollars. My mother in law did that to us and we are now in for several thousand dollars.
My son loves collecting the figures. Even though once he beats the game, he doesn't play it again. Right now walmart has a starter bundle that has several figures and a couple of the traps and the portal and game for $100.

Our son got his Ipod 5th gen touch when he was 6 ( his older sisters got them that year so...) and he's been fine with it. All three are getting Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 tablets this year. Bigger screen. (games and netflix rule our house) I looked at getting ipads, but for the memory space, the cost was too great. The ipods have 32 gb and we have maxed them out with videos and games on long trips. The tablets come with 16 gb and can expand up to 64 . If you really want to go with apple, there should be some good deals on the mini again this year.

If they want Fusion sets (the ones you use with the Lego master builder app) , get them now and hold on to the receipt, just in case. They are getting really hard to find.

Went ahead & picked up the samsung tab 3 10.1 wifi at bb today. They were honoring bf price in store on the 7 and 10.1. But not on kindle. Now looking to see best price for a 64gb micro sd to go with it.

no idea...this one is our first ....DH is something of a technophobe (still doesn't use a cellphone) but is tired of schlepping a bag of books on vacation so.....

saw a samsung galaxy 3 tab that looked decent with ability to expand with sd card and 16 gb already....no adobe flash, but think thats missing on most(?)...would this be okay alternative "tweener" between KF HD and an ipad? reading, streaming, surfing, some game apps, but nothing huge......

Octonauts in TRU stores . Characters not online though. Dashi , Tweak & Turnip were spotted, but didn't see Inkling. I'd just keep looking. They'll get some before Christmas I'm sure if your store is out.
