  1. Yes, you can use it on the 32g, which also has a free $30 gift card with it this week.

It works out to roughly $220 (from $295) for the 32g 4th gen ipod touch ($295 - 10% - $45 in Target GCs = $220.50). If you have a Target credit or debit card, you get another 5% off, making it $209.48.

I got one tonite. Would LOVE to get another one if anyone has a 10% off ipod coupon from that mailer that they aren't using!

    Great deal, IMO!

  2. I cannot WAIT to go back to Target and search for some of the deals you guys are finding (specifically the batteries and the Easter-themed stuff that has been put back with the "regular" stuff).

I found Pillsbury Spring Funfetti cake mix for 16 cents yesterday. Not with Easter clearance; mixed in with regular cake/brownie mixes on an endcap.

Tons left! "Use by" date is July 2011.

  3. Looks like they're up to $43.99 on Amazon today.

Walmart has them for $39.96... says they're out of stock online, but you can check local Walmart availability by zip code. It says the stores near me all have them, so hopefully yours will too.

I agree that it's crazy how expensive they usually are ($54-$55)--however, whatever you do, stay away from the "off" brands. Not worth the $$ you save at all IMO.

  4. Finish Line has some nice ones 2/$40 + free shipping. http://www.finishline.com/store/shop/_/N-/Ns-P_DaysOld|0/Ntt-2forfleece?icid=50119

I remember last year they had a great Black Friday deal with the college hoodies... like 2/$25 I think. Don't remember exactly, but I do know that I snatched up 8 of them as Xmas gifts and consider it my fondest Black Friday deal to date. :D

    Good luck!

There are some coupon codes under the Coupons tab on this site as well: http://www.gottadeal.com/Coupons/Store/FinishLinecom

  5. I have the DC 17 Animal and highly recommend, especially if you have indoor pets. I was debating on get another one too and had Home Depot the cheapest with 4% from Ebates, free ship and $10 off $100 code:UPROM22. We have 3 dogs and 2 rabbits and I use my Dyson daily.

Same here... LOVE the Animal. We also have 3 dogs... and a cat instead of rabbits.

Great vacuum... beats my old Oreck (which I thought was doing a good job) by a mile! :D

  6. I ended up getting one of these for each of my sons last night at Target. It got great reviews online and is originally $99.

It DOES support 2nd gen ipod touch and also has a CD player, AM/FM radio and a remote. Here's the listing and writeup on Amazon if you want to know more:

  7. There are so many out there, it's definitely hard to choose!

I guess more than anything, it depends on the features that are important to you (alarm clock, remote, portable, sound quality).

I have my eye on the Sony one for $75 in this week's Target ad. I'm hoping they have it on display so I can check the sound quality (and original price, so I know how good of a deal I'm getting :D).

iHome is a great brand, as well. They have been around since ipods first came on the scene and make a variety of different nice-quality docking stations.

  8. I see on some other threads re: the same subject that Staples is price matching too. I'm going out now to find out.

Yippee! I was able to get a price match at Staples tonite. I initially was told that they would PM as long they could call and verify that the item was in stock at Target--which I knew it wasn't--but for some reason she went to the back, grabbed one for me and rang me up without even trying to call.

I am one happy camper tonite! :D Thanks again to the poster who mentioned the Staples price match!

  9. I hate to beat a dead horse. I have read through this entire thread, are there and final thoughts on the Acer netbook that Target has for sale this week for $199. It appears to be the same one Office Max has for $50 less on BF.

It would be for my 12 year old daughter. Facebook/email/surfing web. Simple things like that. She doesn't do any kind of hard core games.

I talked to the man in Target last night and he thought it would completely meet her needs.

Anyone point me in a direction one way or another?

    Thanks in advance :)

The Target netbook sounds perfect for her! The thing is, you likely will have a hard time finding one--they're out of stock all over the place.

I'm going to our new super Walmart today to see if they carry the same model and, if so, try to get a price match. Otherwise, they have the same netbook at both Office Max (for $50 less) and Sam's Club ($197) on Black Friday.

    Good luck to you! :D

  10. Wow! As much as I don't like TRU, I LOVE this deal! Here's my plan:

Call of Duty MW = $59.99

    Uncharted 2 = $59.99

    FREE GC for buying 2 = $25

FREE BONUS GC for buying 2 between 10-2 today = $30

    FREE GC for spending $75 = $10

    So.... $119.98 - $65 GC = $54.98 / 2 = $27.49 each for 2 great games!

Headed out soon to see if this works. Fingers crossed! :D

I'm back, and it didn't work.

I bought 2 games and got the $30 GC for being a rewards member (I don't have a card either, just gave phone #), but the cashier said that the other gift card deals didn't apply and would be considered "stacking."

I was OK with not getting the additional $25 GC for buying the games (that was pushing it, but it couldn't hurt to try), but not being able to use the insert coupon for a $10 GC wyb $75 disappoints me. I don't see any exclusions on the coupon.

Oh, well... still gotta deal! :D Anxious to hear how it turns out for others.

ETA: I just turned the coupon over and saw the exclusion AudreyNicole mentioned; I didn't realize there was a backside to it. Should have had the one from the big toy book.

  11. Please let us know if that works!

I'll let you guys know just as soon as I get back...

is this at all tru or just certain area?

It's in the Sunday insert and doesn't mention being regional, so I'd imagine it's good at all locations.

    Here I go!

  13. Any music that I hate. The kids always want to listen to it in the car when we're driving and some of my sons CDs make me want to drive off a cliff .

I can so relate to that! Why do they feel like they HAVE to share their musical taste with us in the car?

My boys have CD players/ipods/laptops with itunes they can listen to in their rooms all day and never do, but the minute we hop in the car, it's a concert for mom! :eyepoppin

  14. Everyone posting about toys that were broken or never used reminded me of something else... Last year I spent a bunch of money on the whole Rose Petal Cottage Cherry Blossom Market set for my then foster daughter. I thought she would LOVE it and she sure seemed to Christmas morning.

Well, Christmas evening, come bedtime, she decides she doesn't want to go to bed. When I insist (it was 10pm, well past her 8pm bedtime), she got mad, and I heard her in her room yelling, screaming, and thumping around. The next morning, I went in to find the cash register cracked, the dishes and utensils snapped in half, the paper money torn up, and the FRAME to the market bent all up. I'm guessing she was hanging from it?!? The only things that survived were the stuffed fruits, veggies, cake, etc.

I was so disapointed... I had pictures of her spending hours playing in her little play house. I used to have a playhouse and I loved it- then I had 2 boys. She was my first little girl, so I had big visions of us playing house together. I'm just glad DH talked me out of the $300 wooden doll house I had been considering for her! She also got a big Princess throne that she broke the arms and legs off of...

The only thing that kept me from being too upset was that a week or 2 before Christmas, Amazon & Walmart.com had put everything on sale for CHEAP, so I was able to return the expensive set that I bought on BF, so instead of destroying something I had spent about $200on, it only cost us about $50.

I can so relate to this. My boys are 14 & 16 now, but I VIVIDLY remember how excited I was to see how excited they'd be with the toys and stuff I spent countless hours considering, reviewing, shopping for, hiding, wrapping, assembling, etc. every year--only to be disappointed (and sometimes even in tears) by Christmas afternoon when so much of what I envisioned didn't come to pass.

You'd think I'd learn my lesson, but I never did. And the funny thing is, although the memories of those crazy Christmas days will stay with me forever, the boys don't remember a bit of it!
