  2. I always search with google. And with the recent thing people are searching for, I open the search options and search for the last 24 hours. I also read the summaries. Virus sites will have mumbo-jumbo in the quick summary, misspelled words, and more.

I think this is a really great site, but unfortunately theres places out there that are spelling out, without the scans, exactly what is in the ad. And there are also those sites that have the ad for a short time, before they get asked to take it down.

There's not anywhere near the discussions and comparisons on other sites that there are here, but this one ad is really what people want to know about, year after year. I don't buy all my groceries at one store, but there is one store I shop at the most.

  3. I think a major question might be whether you want a standard definition camcorder (SD) or a high definition camcorder (HD). With everything going to HD, I don't know that I would buy an SD camcorder these days.

I have a big (by todays standards) digital 8 sony. On my big HD tv the picture is kind of grainy, not as much detail, etc, although it looks fine on the small tube tvs. I am really looking at getting a high def camcorder this year. While I don't know that the hard drive ones are all that great, the flash memory ones are still too expensive, and any disc or tape ones are a no-no. I LOVED the image stabilization on the sony hdrxr200v that I played with at my costco, but reviews have me worried, complaint being video quality is poor in low light settings.

  4. After the same type of experiences (even with Costco) I started putting every receipt for high dollar, Christmas, birthday and other possible returnable purchases in my nightstand. I also use a section of my garage for original packaging.

Costco has twice tried to be butt heads about returns. Once they refused to look up when I had purchased the item (I didn't have the receipt with me). They said that was not their job/duty. A second time they went through every item that was included in the package - and refused to do the return, as I did not have the original users manual that came with the product. I ended up going back home, searching for hours, and finding the manual and getting the return handled. I was very tempted to go, find the item in the store, open it up and take a manual. These were not use*and*return items, these were items that ended up being defective, that I was trying to exchange. And I am an executive member as well, rarely do returns, and spend thousands there with my business.

  5. Costco has this one and a lot of other titles for the Wii on special right now with a coupon. They're regularly $15.88, and I think the coupon drops the price to like $9.88. I used my coupon last week, so I can't verify whether it was a 5 or 6 dollar coupon. Wall-E for the Wii is also on special right now, instant rebate (no coupon), makes it about $28.
  6. My walmart was clearancing out some display models of older tvs. they were all standard definition, not hdtv, but were pretty cheap, and good enough for gaming and stuff. I think they still include full warranty. check your walmart out.
