  1. Wow, I never eve considered GeoTrax, but you all have atleast opened my eyes to the possibility.

Should I consider a set on a train table, or just a set he can put on the floor?

We have never owned a table. My three kids usually just used the WHOLE basement floor and

built a huge track. They would use other toys and pillows to make it more challenging. They

have always had more fun building it than actually playing. They would take forever to build

something, play a few minutes, and then take it apart to make it "cooler"!!! I wouldn't limit

their imaginations by a table, but that is just my opinion.

  2. Geotrax is the best. The kids are able to control the trains and vehicles with their own cordless remotes. It is also VERY sturdy. We own a HUGE bin of the stuff, and have never broken any pieces. And that is with him, and his two older siblings playing with it. My son started collecting it when he was about three. He is now seven.
  3. We had issues of long lines, not having items in stock, and we even had an issue one year of not getting a rebate for an mp3 player that we had bought. Unless they are practically giving stuff away, I will be avoiding Sears on BF. Many other nicer stores to hit.

I should stipulate that all my experience was in the electronics department. I can not speak

    for any other departments.

  5. Was just at BBW a few hours ago. They had the Signature Collection for But 1 Get 1 half off. And for everyone who visited and spent $10 they got any item they wanted up to $13 for free. I spent $16 and got three items. At check out the guy handed me two coupons. One was for the $10 off $30 and the other was for a Free White Barn Home Fragrance item up to $12.50 with a $10 purchase. Both are good until Dec 24, 2008. They told me I could use them on the BF Sale. They also said they would be getting a limited amount of the VIP bags. Our store right now is in a mall and is scheduled to open at 7 am, but the Manager said she was trying to get permission to open at 6 am. If you are wanting to hit this store make sure you ask before hand when they will open. It looks like it depends on the store.
