I can't find that tv on their website, so it's hard to know without the model #. I know Best Buy will have a Samsung 55" 1080p 240Hz LED HDTV for $799 as an Early Bird. No clue if they are the same models or not.

Do you guys think you shop for a longer or shorter overall time in stores because of the Thursday night openings?

I personally shop shorter. Last year I went to BB got my 3 things(2 tvs and a bluray) and went home... Not a fan of the Early opens.

That would be a bit too early for a lot of people, I would think. At that point, you're sacrificing holiday time to shop and that just not going to fly for many people, myself included. I like the 10 p.m. sales though. I can shop, come home and sleep, and then head out again in the morning. I'll be interested to see if they follow through with the 8:00 idea. I can see that not working out so well.

I got EVERYTHING I wanted :) Was 15th in line @ Best Buy...got the 42" and 24" and Toshiba DVD....It was a Great Birthday!!!!
