$50 off $100 in Wondershop isn't too bad.
I was thinking that too but I don't know if I can get $100 worth. I'm pretty much all set with decorations. I could go the wrapping paper, ribbons, etc... route but that seems like a lot to get!

My parents' get all of the ads in the Wednesday ad - even before stores opened on Thanksgiving - since they live in a rural area and don't have mail delivery on holidays. In town, I noticed last year they were spread over Wednesday and Thursday.

I would suggest keeping an eye out for your local furniture places. I'm sure they will have deals!
-
Congrats everyone! Looks like I'll have to try again!
-
Sure will. I wonder if Amazon is going to match that...
I wonder if it might be one of their movie lightning deals. I hope they come out with a DVD calendar as they have in the past. If I can snag it through Amazon for about the same price, it's better than fighting for it at Target.

I'm actually very picky about things that aren't Prime Eligible. I usually avoid those things
Me too! Every now and then I get lucky with a great 3rd party seller but I try to stick with Prime eligible items if I can.

Every time I look at the ad, I add another thing to my list! I bet the Finding Dory will go like crazy!
-
I was shocked this was it for the ad :-(
Me too! It looks like a regular week ad.
-
This I don't understand. I would understand if it was this time next week but to stand in line a week and a half early - uff da! I don't crave the five minutes of fame enough to camp out that early.

The DMC floss is a great price at 4 for $1 but I'm not sure if it's worth the crowd. I may swing in an hour or two after they open.

I like the cheap price on the holiday rugs - might have to swing by for one!

Zim05, did you pay the $1399? Either way, it is still a great value for a set that wasn't a "produced for Black Friday" item, which is technically only six months post production.
No, I went with the LG 50" in the Best Buy BF preview for $399.99: https://goo.gl/engEIt

Let me know what you think. Wife and I were talking about possibly that one or one from the Sam's Club ad since I won't be doing Thursday in-store sales lol.
I got the TV last night and lugged it home. So far so good! I wasn't going to go the 4K route given the discussion in the TV thread but this one was cheaper than the non-4K one at Target I was looking at (and only 5 inches smaller). Overall the TV quality is good and easy setup.

I'm disappointed there is no Tidy Cat sale or wet cat food sale. Looks like I have to go to Shopko for it.

My university does it with Columbus Day so I get off and paid
Now that I think of it, ours does with Columbus Day too - not Veterans Day
-
I just purchased (and will pick up tonight) a LG 50 in their "preBF" sale online. My major BF purchase is complete so now I can focus on smaller (and easier to carry) things!

I'll have to look more closely at the TVs once I've made up my mind about how big I want to go. Besides that, there really wasn't anything else that jumped out at me.

Christmas Eve we usually have Lasagna (the Stouffer's kind) and cheese bread. For my family, Christmas Eve is when we open all the presents except for stockings and Santa gifts.
-
We have BF as a paid 'holiday' - I think my university switches it with Veterans Day or another state holiday.
But, since it's a private university, they can pretty much do what they want. It's nice because the week leading up to Christmas and the week leading up to NYE the entire campus closes at 3pm so we have 2 hours paid off for those days.

I was really hoping to wake up to one of the big 3 ads today.......
Me too! I'm trying to remind myself that good things happen to those who wait but then I just get more impatient!
-
No they just moved it to Wednesday to confuse people
In a few years it probably will!

For those looking for an Echo, today may be a good day to get it at $140.38: http://amzn.to/2fhDT4V
Don't know if it'll get a whole lot cheaper on BF!
