  1. First year I haven't gone out on Black Friday and did lots online! I'm wearing my Black Friday T-shirt, does that count? Was able to snag the $145 Itouch Lightening Deal on Amazon, 60" Sharp LCD TV at Best Buy for $799, got an incredible scratch and dent deal on an Alienware 15.6" Laptop (#1 and pretty much only thing on son's gift list) last week, and various other odds and ends lightening deals at Amazon over the week (Legos, Spyware glasses, arctouch mouse for laptop, watch for hubbie). Waiting up for WalMart's online black friday deals, but won't stress if I don't get them.
  2. Won one last weekend on a Bollywood question, anxiously checking my mailbox daily! Hope it went out in Brad's mailing today :-) (double checked my in box to make sure I didn't miss a PM from Brad) Thanks for such an amazing site for the "bargain hunters" in all of us!
  3. If you are looking for a gaming system for a teen and they are dying for an Alienware, check out Newegg and delloutlet.com for some sweet deals. Yesterday on delloutlet.com I snagged a "scratch and dent" Alienware m15x (they stopped making these at the beginning of this year, but like the screen size) for $906 shipped. It was $1129 but they had a 25% off coupon code on all refurbished Alienwares. Deal of the century for me!!!

    Intel i7 720M 1.6Mhz Quad Core Processor

    500GB Hard Drive

    8GB RAM

    NVIDIA 260M

    1080p screen

    Blue Ray 4x

    9c battery

    HDTV tuner thingy

    Bluetooth

    1 year warranty

Today they had a i5 processor for $829, but I couldn't find any coupon codes. Also ebay has some factory refurbished that still have some warranty left and newegg had some okay prices.

  4. Had to spend 40 minutes on the phone with KMart to get both free shipping and $5 off $50 (only after talking with them, being ready to just cancel the order assuming it wouldn't work, being assured it would work and to continue with the order, 15 mins later, putting the order thru, then they tried not to give me the $5 off after all that . Only got it by agreeing to a $5 credit back to my credit card in 5 business days. Also, one of the items I was ordering was going to be $5 cheaper at some point based on what she asked what the basic price I was seeing online. I hate rebates and I hate "if you remember to check it" things for small amounts. Glad I got the Nerf at a great price, but not sure it was worth it to get the free shipping and $5 off.
  5. Since I posted without contributing earlier, my thoughts:

    * Lanyards that have the ZIPPERED enclosures (so we can feel secure that we aren't losing our credit cards and money)

    * Pens on a cord so we'd always have it around our neck and handy

    * Eyeglass case on a cord (could use for reading glasses or to hold money/coupons/sales paper cut outs)

    * Cold weather items (ear warmers, gloves, scarf, Hoodies, etc.)

    * If you are going for the coupon people, 2-3 inch ZIPPERED binders to hold everything (zippered enclosure is the key).

If I were to win, I've already won a t-shirt (gotta love Big Jim's webcast, Bollywood Movies, and mad Googling Skills!), so give it to the next person who posts after me who hasn't won (stole this idea from several pages back).

Thanks for all you do to help my Christmas Shopping be a huge success!
