went to my target this morning, found wii Sonic Tennis $3.xx, WII Bowling 7.xx and Spider Man 3 for Xbox360 for 7xx - toys 30 percent clearance on some, 30 percent on christmas - alot of Rockband Aerosmith for PS2 27xx

I'd take a chance and look even earlier - my Aldi's said everything is set out as soon as they get it on off the truck - sometimes this is the week prior to the ad

I've been told that for the first time ever, Walmart will be open Thanksgiving Day this year - anyone else hear about it?

I got this recipe somewhere out in internet land last year - simple and everyone loved them
Chocolate turtles
1 bag square pretzels - though I used the smaller twists
1 bag rolo candys
1 bag almond halves - or slivers / I used neither
preheat oven to 325 - line cookie sheet with was/baking paper
top 1 pretzel with 1 rolo -
put into oven -
depending on your oven these should melt within 3 to 5 short minutes
remove from oven - place in freezer to set.
some people mentioned that they toasted their almonds first in the oven to bring out the flavor

are you looking more for edible gifts or "crafty" type gifts? - A "coupon" book could be made by putting construction paper together and writing out or using magazines for pictures

My nephew does not have a winter coat , being on an extremely fixed income, I need to find a good deal - he's 10 years old and wears a 16 in boys pants and I guess an extra large in boys shirts - and he is getting to that age where he notices what other kids are wearing. Anyone know where I might find a decent variety in the $30 price range? He of course will come along with me. thanks!

you should also check kmart - they have some ds games on clearance -$9, some $15 - can't remember titles though

When you make a $1 donation at the Kmart pharmacy to the American Diabetes Association, you get a $2 gift card in return! Good up to a total of $20 gift card for a $10 donation! One per person, offer good (I think) until 11/17.
You have to have a Kmart w/ a pharmacy, this is the only place that the donations are accepted. My pharmacy had a black and white sheet of paper w/ the offer on it taped to the counter. I have heard that *some* Kmart pharmacies may not be participating, so you may want to check.
So if you had to buy something there anyway, you can 'double' your spending dollar

went to my target today =did a quick cruise around the pantry area - scored 3 of the MM 10pks -right there by there lonesome. No problem at check out - paid the 69 cents

just got back from Howell, NJ store - dorm bedding etc still 50 percent off and pretty full at that. Also saw towels 30% off. I went ahead and bought a few at $3,48 because I needed them and probably wouldn't be there when I got back. Lots of backpacks on end caps by Electronics 75 percent off I got a Hello Kitty Denim one for my niece. Saw but did not buy Nintendo DS and gameboy advance games at 30% - looked like cartoon network titles, but not sure 13xx at 30% off. fans at 75% off stil whole endcap as well as some scattered by housewares. Lots more - this is what I remember (had 2 year old distraction lol)

Was at the Target in Howell Nj - saw the several of the tents referenced above, but didn't buy. Not mentioned that I have seen are the Method air freshners - spray and plug in - 30% off - the only 'flavor' (?) for lack of a better word was cut grass love this one so I bought even at 30% checked MM juice and one lone 10 pack of apple but one of the boxes was crushed - left behind

Just had to run to Target in Howell NJ - niece couldn't find the 2 pair of sandals I bought her earlier in the season - Greatful to find they still had quite a selection of summer shoes for 75% off - got her a nice pair of white sandals for $3.74 to wear to shower today as well as a 'jazzy pink pair' to wear for play - again 3.74

does anyone know if the scooters should be going on clearance soon ?- the niece and nephews are due an upgrade but simply don't have the $$ to do for all at full price. Thanks in advance!

In the bulk section in Neptune, it included all bulk items - the clorox wipes 2 packs, the multipacks of deodorant, body wash ect.

I was in Neptune NJ Greatland Target this morning (not my usual Target), and the toys were still 50% . This was around 10:30 ish They appeared to be doing a huge reset in the shoes however.

I like ours too.....last week I was able to get a couple of packages of the hanes panties for my niece $1....northing wrong with them - just the upc missing from the package. (3pk) the kids grow so fast its great when you can save on an 'essential' lol!

Just an FYI - stopped by Freehold NJ Rag Shop today -signs saying final 3 days of sale. Browsed around actually found signage of upto 50% off shelf tags ....the store is pretty wiped out though the smallest percentages were on bridal section-still quite a bit there and some wicker items. The line was pretty long so I didn't bother to purchase the 3 items I had selected.
