  1. Read Consumers Report and their suggestion for under $150 was the Canon Power Shot A1000, the Kodak Easy Share M1033, the C160, or the M320 & finally, the Samsung SL102.

She's looking for something in color. That's easy enough. Put I didn't want to place a lot of research into the particulars. Sounds like I should atleast go with a 4X over a 3X.

For a little more money, others I'm considering, if I can find them are sale are the Canon Power Shot SD1200, the SD 780, or the SD980, the Casio Exilim EX512, & the Sony Cyber Shot DSC-T90.

    Thanks!

  2. What do men really want for their holiday? Besides that. I know the usual ideas, if they collect something, are they into something, do they have a passion about something, what's their hobbie, etc. I thought it would be interesting to read how the men would response to the question. Maybe they could share a gift they already received that was unique, unexpected, etc.
  3. I bought a coffee mug from Starbucks that you put your own pictures in and did a photo set up on my computer with a bunch of pictures of our kids on the insert. It takes some time but he loves that cup and uses it all the time.

My husband is into computers I got him a few thumb drives. The newest one I'm going to get him looks like a key and goes on a key ring so he can have it with him at any job site.

My husband likes his new camera Canon SD1200.

    He loves his Zune.

GPS was a great idea. He loves his.

Noise Cancelling Headphones. My husband travels alot. He feels they are necessary on a plane.

It is hard to help somebody else. My husband is almost 47. What was important to him when he was in his 20's isn't important now and vice versa. I guess it depends on where your at in life. My son is 23. He loves Simpsons stuff. He'll want as many toys as my 7 year old. My 17 year old wants electronic equipment (no kid toys for him).

Let us know what you come up with. :D

Where did you find the thumb drive that looks like a key? Thanks!

  4. Looking for a GPS. Did research on Consumers Reports, however, found that what they recommended and their customer reviews didn't match up to what other consumers said on sites such as Radio Shack, Best Buy or Amazon.

Can anyone shed light for a first time buyer wanting to purchase one? Do they come with everything out of the box and ready to go, or is there a need to buy extras at the same time, like mounts, cables, a carrying case, etc.?

    Thanks!
