Code YAYFREEBOOK does work for the snapfish free 8 x 11 book. Make sure you pick the "classic" cover. I had done a custom cover and it would not work. Not sure when it expires.

The snapfish book code was SOAPBOX and it was suppose to be good thru tomorrow, but they apparently ended it today because of so many using it. Then code YAYFREEBOOK was suppose to work for a free 8 x 11 book, but after working all evening on my book, I can't get it to work.

It really depends on how your children will use them. If you plan on them spending any length of time on the computers then I would suggest the bigger screen and keyboard. Netbooks are great for basic tasks, but I wouldn't want to use one for 3-5 hours every day. The screen is too small and the keyboards are not designed for long term typing (think term papers). The bigger laptops will obviously be heavier and larger than a netbook so you need to take that into consideration.

Uggg....DH stayed up til now to try to get $149 netbooks! I am planning to go to Walmart to get 2 of the $198 laptops for two teenagers, but am worried about not being able to get them. I'm looking at the $249 Acer laptop and $179 Gateway netbooks on BB.....any input on what to do?? They will mainly use them for online classes and facebook, etc.

I can barely keep my eyes open! I want 2 netbooks for DD & DS......I guess DH will get up and watch for a while while I sleep.....he doesn't want to go stand in line all night at Walmart with me for the $199 laptops, so he's game! LOL

They have one coming up in the next few weeks. An associate told me about it the other day when I was in the store, but I can't remember what date it is going to be.

I think it was around lunch time when we went, and the line was out the door and down the sidewalk, but it moved pretty quickly. Once we got inside, they were very well staffed and brought our food out quickly. The kids really enjoyed it so I will probably go again. I may try to go around 11 AM and try to get there between the breakfast and lunch rush.

Does anyone have the cottage and have any input on it? I bought one for my almost 3 year old, but am considering taking it back before Christmas because of the size. I hate to have something that big if it's not played with A LOT! We have the biggest Step 2 kitchen already, so I keep flip floppping on what to do.
