  1. My DD is 12 and LOVES this store, and I am so glad I waited until Cyber Monday to buy for her! I picked up 11 items today, with free shipping and the $10 off with the code--my total is $91.93! ELEVEN things--she's going to be thrilled on Christmas morning! I got her a set of pajamas with matching slippers, a tote bag for gym clothes, a sweater, a hoodie, some t's, some pants...VERY pleased with the deals on Aero today!
  2. Our store already has a pallet with about 6 of these sitting out, and I'd be willing to bet there are more in the back.

The box wasn't huge, and should fit in any standard SUV or minivan! I have a Kia Sedona and it should fit nicely.

  3. What are you so mad about? What did you want that they don't have? What is so awesome at Target? Seems like I am not looking at the same ads as everyone else, or I just stumbled into a walmart bashing site.

You're kidding, right? You DID see the ad? There is a REASON why everyone is so majorly disappointed. This is the biggest shopping day of the YEAR. Walmart SUCKS and they have for at least 2 years now. It ranks right up there with last year's ad with the towels and bathrobes. Seriously....did they think we'd get up at 3 a.m. for the piddly, insignificant items they are offering?

What cracks me up is the GENIUS that got his panties in a bunch about the BIG AD leaking out early. GASP. GASP. GASP. Oh, yes, that would be horrific. :smirk:

    :confused::no::yuck:

  4. I can't forgive them for the bad ads the last 2 years. I mean really...who gets up at 3 a.m. for cheap Walmart towels & bath robes, let alone Garth Brooks CD's? I'd rather stay home & sleep!
  5. I, too, hated Walmart before they did this, so I don't really care about their ad or when they show it to me. Quite frankly I can get their low-quality towels & bathrobes 364 days a year. :snicker: Ohhhhhhhh, I can only hope they offer those STELLAR deals again this year. :yuck:

Walmart is a crappy store, with rude customer service & poor-quality merchandise..maybe they should worry about giving all of their employees benefits & treating customers with respect instead of worrying about the American public finding out about their big, secret TOWEL sales a week early.

We should boycott Walmart all year long, if you want to "punish" them for how they are and what they stand for. They've done enough damage in our world...I miss the smaller stores in my hometown.

Walmart has nothing that I can't get at my local home-owned grocery store....Their pet foods are poor quality CRAP, so I buy those at Tractor Supply...I can get detergent, soap, & everything else at the grocery store.

    Why go to Walmart? Ever??

  6. Maurice? what is that? I don't think they have that store here... do they have a website?

The website is www.maurices.com but I don't think you can order online, but I bet you can search for a local store. I don't think they are in every state though. :( But if you do have one, it's definitely worth stopping in for.

  7. I went into our local Maurices today, and all of their clearance racks are an ADDITIONAL 75% off..I picked up a sharp pair of striped trousers for $7.50, and another pair of cropped dress pants for $6.76...our store had racks and racks and racks. These are NICE things, super in-style and really good deals! Don't forget to ask for a punch card while you're there! :)
  8. I just made a purchase from Hancock and was able to find a free shipping code that helped out a lot. I was able to get 8 yards of fleece 4yards print and 4 yards solid in two differant patterns and with the coupon and tax it was only 33.42 I didn't think that was bad at all. The code was WELCOME It was the first time I had ordered from them so I am not sure if the code works for repeat orders but worth a try.

    Have a great day

    Heidi

Thank you sooooo much for the shipping code! I searched for codes and couldn't find any! This will help out a lot! :yup:

  9. Thank you!! I'm disappointed though to see how high the print fleeces are still. My youngest has been wanting me to make her a no-sew tie fleece blanket like the ones I made for Christmas, so we've been waiting for the fleece to go on sale! It's still sooooooooo expensive...to do 2 yards of a print and 2 yards of a solid are going to be about $40 after shipping/tax. Yikes!!
  10. If she is into posters, I found some at Walmart. Believe it or not my son is totally into the movie. We are also going to the show in January.

Ahh..the reminds me! My daughter has the posters from Walmart, but Santa left her a couple of the pre-teen/teen magazines in her stocking this year that were full of High School Musical photos and posters. :D

  11. My daughter is a HUGE HSM fan as well. For Christmas, I found a shirt at Goody's for $7.50, then I made her some custom capri's with iron-on patches and ribbon around each leg. (Using loops of ribbon..I make these for all holidays, etc..the girls love them and they look so cute with striped tights or socks under them!)

I also found HSM pins (buttons) on Ebay really cheap.. a set of 6 for less than $4. Ebay is a plethora of HSM goodies.
